The below video footage has been trending on social media platforms for days now due to how a broom-wielding man showcased his "skills" to catch a supposed thief. It features a man using "African method" with two brooms to catch a thief. In the viral footage, the man can be seen using his brooms on three "suspects" while reciting an incantation to find out who the guilty person is .

On getting to the third guy, when the man placed the broom on him and recited the incantation, the young man was pulled to the ground by the brooms (meaning he's the person they were looking for).

The man on seeing on what happened continued dragging the alleged thief on the ground with the two brooms...something that seems impossible. Watch the video and see for yourself.

Don't get your facts twisted. It was Africans who sold their fellow Africans as slaves to the Europeans. This is a well established fact. Without African participation, the slave trade probably wouldn't have been as damaging as it was, and it probably wouldn't have lasted as long as it did. That doesn't excuse or justify what the Europeans did, but I'm often irritated by the African tendency to downplay our own complicity in the Slave trade.

Secondly, "better" in this context does not necessarily mean "moral superiority". It just means that the West is better at harnessing the power of science and technology to solve the problems confronting mankind instead of resorting to ignorance and primitive superstition.
