I work as a cashier in one of these betting shops.. Pay is little. 12k5/ month. Been managing it. I'm a student, but i also work simultaenously to keep body and soul together. This month, i planned to resign after i collect my salary, so i can look for a better job here in owerri.


Like a week ago or so, my boss said he will pay us part of the salary, only 7k, that he dosen't have enough money. And then he will remit the remaining next month when he pays next month salary. The thing is i don't plan to stay here next month. My salary is nowhere enough for me. Feeding takes like 7k, and i also have to buy materials for school. Popsi dosen't even have cash, so i'm practically training myself. (part of the reason i hustled for my job).


Boss has been adamant he will pay me only 7k., please what can i do to get my full pay from him. If in my shoes which action will u take.?

since he promised to pay the rest next month, your best bet is to work till then, collect your remaining balance and leave. you can also get what you will work for next month by asking for an advance to the tune of what you worked for... though that is not professional....
