them say somebody steal our oil sell pocket the money and yet the "our brother, our brother" defenders of criminals gather to do the usual. Can ifanyi ubah not defend himself again, does he need the entire igbo race to "storm" the court because..... oh yes, he is ipob so therefore not guilty 1 Like |

DSS failing to bring Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah before a Justice Idris Court. Igbos have seen red in this contraption by foreigners called Nigeria. This should be a notice to those Igbos who because of their businesses and houses outside the east now refuse to support Biafra this time. Such Igbos are most shortsighted regarding the definition of FREEDOM. In one Nigeria, even an Hausa/Fulani corporal in the armed forces has the power of life and death over a multi-billionaire Igbo. 1 Like |

TheCabal: If he is guilty of all these allegations, why not bring him to court, prove it beyond every reasonable doubt and then jail him. What's the essence of holding him if he is guilty as charged. Don't support evil, cos no body knows tomorrow 4 Likes 1 Share |

For your mind, you make sense? If they prosecute him, youll say its because he's igbo. If they dont, youll say its because hes APC. You wont mention the fact that he might have defrauded us. You'll then go and be dancing 'rara' by Tekno NwaObinkita: |

I don't get it. What law empowers the so-called DSS to detain anyone they like indefinitely, without charging him or her to court? If such a law exists, why isn't the National Assembly making frantic moves to repeal such an obnoxious and vexatious law? This Gestapo system doesn't look right in any way. 1 Like |

gberra:It would be unfair to pronounce him guilty when a competent court of law is yet to do so. Besides, the DSS' jurisdiction does not extend to financial crimes, even if we are to assume Ubah is a criminal. Furthermore, the charge the secret police labeled him with, “economic crimes of national security dimension", is laughable and also makes a mockery of our democracy. If indeed the DSS is interested in seeing justice take its course, they would have presented him in court on those two occasions they could not. Ifeanyi Ubah's only sin is that he tried arm twisting the government by using the NNPC to stage a protest. Again, this whole thing could also be a strategy ahead of the Anambra gubernatorial election. You know what they say about politicians who are incacerated and let loose. 4 Likes |

waledeji: A country that disregard the rule of law is a failed state, Uba may be guilty, but it is up to a court of competent jurisdiction to find him culpable. You may call it whatever (lamentation or Brouhaha) but when impunity cast the net, you, your father, mother, brother, sister and relatives may one day be among the one inside the net. 3 Likes |

GEJ lost the 2015 elections for so many reasons including the utterances of the his wife and the then spokesperson of the DSS Marylyn Ogar. Today the DSS and lack of respect for our laws amongst other things may be responsible for the next change. Mr Bola Tinubu take note. |

With all these we're seeing, it will be easier for a camel to pass through needle than for igbos to rule this country The atrocities they committed under GEJ was just too much |

Re: Protest As DSS Failed To Provide Ifeanyi Ubah In Court by gberra: 7:53pm On May 18, 2017 |
Sanchez01:However we might conjecture, the fact remains sacrosanct. He was arrested over economic sabotage. He was found to have incited the petroleum tanker drivers to stop lifting products from the NNPC. As a citizen he owns no right to hold the economy into ransom. |
