The Commander of Information at the Eastern Naval Command, Commander Abdulkadir said the Nigerian Navy authorities were yet to be formally briefed about the mission of the flag ship.

The waterways are not as porous as you imagined. I believe the warship is on a friendly mission. FYI, there is constant navy patrol along calabar channel while the presence of Nigerian naval warship on the high sea would have done the needful had it been the said warship is not on a friendly visit.

Oga if it wasn't porous , d Nigerian Navy would have known d WARSHIP was coming and why it was coming... Its a WARSHIP we are talking about here not a cruise ship. D mere fact dat d Navy is unaware if d ship's mission is embarassing already. A ship u don't know its mission even already receiving their country's representative.. What if their ambassador has been spying for dem? Its jus like a visitor coming to ur house without informing u wen u're not home because dey know ur door is always open only to invite his relative into to ur house while u are still away.. It is totally wrong and shows great lapses.

The problem is that you don't know anything. For the ship to "dock" it means it was received into the harbour/naval base. That we dont know why they are here does not mean we did not see them coming!

It was a friendly visit. The Cameroon navy doesn't have what it takes to take on the Nigerian navy in a real life situation. The Nigerian navy is bigger than all naval powers in West and Central Africa combine.
The Cameroonian biggest naval ship and firepower are CNS LE NTEM and CNS LA Sanaga.
Below Cameroonian navy flagship and also the biggest ship in CNS fleet

Their biggest firepower are in the range of of our cat class.

Attached below is Nigeria Flagship and if we nd ground troops, these guys below are capable of performing Night and day missions be it Air, ground or Sea. Foe your information, they're men of the Nigerian Navy SBS team.

its impossible to separate cameroon,liberia,ghana,mali,ivory coast and others from nigeria....

their was a reason why bakassi was handed over to cameroon without a fight....

The Nigerian waters is being covered by FALCON EYE. You can look it up on google.
Call it patriotism but its the fact. Cameroon navy ships can't bypass falcon eye. The Nigerian government knows about the visit hence reason for safe passage. For smaller vessels, our ships are over ready to detect any strange aircraft all from the gulf of guinea, Sao tome and togolese waters.
