Most countries negotiate with terrorists and many pay ransoms.

The French certainly do. The Americans have. The British do to. The all lie about it at the time but they do it and the truth usually comes out years later.

It's a tool of last resort but it happens all the time.

Lets not be hypocritical. People pay as much as 200million naira ransom to kidnappers to spare the lives and free their loved ones. No amount is too great to secure the release of the kidnapped ladies. Only the one that wears the shoe knows where it pinches.

The lives of those girls worth more than that amount. Life is priceless, people will go to any length to discredit this effort made by government. The country had more money under Jonathan, how many girls gained freedom despite the money handed over to Boko Haram? What matters to me is that the girls are free. When you are a parent, you will understand the plight of the parents of these girls, if your child was kidnapped and you have the money to pay ransom, won't you no matter the cost? Meanwhile that report is rubbish, read it well

This is very disappointing, so you will risked the lives of millions of people both young & old living in borno, yobe & adamawa just to free 82 chibok girls,

This may sound harsh, but either they give us the chibok girls in exchange for low level commanders( which i will surely poison & infect them with something that will kill them in a month) or nothing at all, i rather sacrifice some of d girls & go in full force with d military
