The time it takes u to master a language is a function of the effort you put in. I started translation after 8months so its really up to you.

I have some questions please,
1. Are the exams practicals? Will there be any time I'd be called to perform or present something in Chinese?

2. The lectures at the Institute might be clashing with my lectures at the department, if I miss a Chinese lecture for a day, will I miss so much? Like, how much work do they do/teach in a lecture?

3. Does one finish all the 6 levels here or if one is lucky, one will get scholarship to go complete the studies in China?

4. Let's say I win a Chinese government scholarship ( ) is it a must that I'd continue studying Chinese in China? Can I go into the Sciences with the scholarship?
