It's not me that wrote Revelation. It's the Holy Spirit that wrote it through John.

And he tells us that saints prayed about earthly events.

How do you want to twist that?
Re: The Catholic Faith: What You Need To Know by Ubenedictus(m): 10:16am On May 22, 2017
this is what the angel said

But while he thought on these
things, behold the angel of the Lord
appeared to him in his sleep, saying:
Joseph, son of David, fear not to take
unto thee Mary thy wife, for that
which is conceived in her, is of the
Holy Ghost.
Themandator:

Sir, the angel that brought the message to Joseph told him not to be afraid to take her as his WIFE. ......Mary did not become a lock object or altar of worship to the Lord.
actually you need to read before you start misinterpreting. the key is the previous verse. Whereupon Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing publicly to expose her, was minded to put her away privately.

so that message from the angel is to prevent him from putting her away.

As for Rabinnic law, the secret of Marys pregnancy was actually known to Joseph , Mary and the Lord so there wasn't anyone that her pregnancy could have been attributed to other than Joseph

Matt. 12:46....“While he was still speaking to the crowds, behold, his mother and his brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak with him. And someone said to him: "Behold, your mother and your brothers are standing outside, seeking you." But responding to the one speaking to him, he said, "Which one is my mother, and who are my brothers?" And extending his hand to his disciples, he said: "Behold: my mother and my brothers. For anyone who does the will of my Father, who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12:46-50‬ ‭CPDV‬‬
Joseph was a just man and a Jew, even though the pregnancy was attributed to him he knew it wasn't his, he also knew his Bride was overshadowed by God...the same word that the Bible uses when talking about the ark of the covenant....

1. no good 1st century Jew will have sex with a woman whether wife, betrothed or concubine who has a baby that isn't his while with him even if the woman didn't commit adultery.
2. no Jew plays around a holy thing moreso if it is overshadowed by the most high.

Mark 6:3; “"Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joseph, and Jude, and Simon? Are not his sisters also here with us?" And they took great offense at him.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭6:3‬ ‭CPDV‬‬

John 2:12....“After this, he descended to Capernaum, with his mother and his brothers and his disciples, but they did not remain ......

Acts 1:14.....“All these were persevering with one accord in prayer with the women, and with Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.”....... Catholic public Domain Bible

‭‭Acts‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭CPDV‬‬
cpdv. 1 Cor. 9:5............Do we not have the authority to travel around with a woman who is a sister, just as do the others apostles , and the brothers of the Lord and cephas......CPDB....... Gal. 1:19..............But others of the apostles saw I none, save for James the Lord's brother.

Matt 18:16 say in the mouth of two or three is a thing confirmed ......That Mary had other children by Joseph has been confirmed by more than three verses from different books of the new testament.

and not once did the bible call those people sons of Mary, instead the Bible clearly attributes them to another Mary who is a relative of Mary the mother of Jesus. they are Jesus' relatives not blood brothers.

Obviously its not
Read the verse properly

It was an aggrieved moment.
Sorrow,dispair etc

So Joshua prostrated before images...but since it was a sorrowful moment, it is ok.

But if Joshua had done it in a happy moment, it would have been idolatry?

But Joshua rent his garments, and fell flat on the ground before the ark of the Lord until the evening, both he and all the ancients of Israel: and they put dust upon their heads.

Go and shake what the ark of covenant represents
That's the most holy thing on earth giving to the children of Isreal by God. They are still with it till today

Stop making useless argument. They didn't bow to it. Like you do to Mary
They didn't worship it like you do to Mary
Be realistic and flee from pegan worship

Catholicism is of course false but today protestants are no different. Just like Catholics, they reject the complete sovereignty of God and have accepted the most subtle lie ever told in the history of mankind.

They are both the same now in error just little differences. I won't be surprised if they unite in future. Both make up the "Wh0re".

Prostration or not

The fact states your shouldn't bow down to them in worship nor whatever

It differs with Joshua encounter

Prostration has never been the case
Never was recorded a sin
Bowing and worshipping is the case

I don't know any of these churches. So, I don't speak for them.

Now, all these talks of “what about this... what about that person” is stale already. Are these people your own standard? While there's absolutely nothing wrong in having a friend's picture in either your house, car, office, etc, the moment that image becomes an abomination is when you put it before you, kneel/bow and pray to it. That is outright idolatry! So, in which of these churches you've mentioned is the worship/veneration of images sanctioned, as it is done in your Catholic church?

Tell me, that I may also call them out for their idolatry.

PS: Philippians 4:6 states: “...but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God”, not unto “Mary” or the “saints.” You don't need an intercessor to get your prayers to God, pray to Him in the name of Jesus as the mediator and you'll be heard! Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, Deborah and other faithful servants of God never ask any saint or angel for intercession, but all made their requests and supplications directly to God, who is the hearer of prayers! (Psalm 65:2).

Why then do you ask your pastor to pray for you

Nope. The most Holy thing is us and that is why the whole issue of the death of Jesus is about us ....Making us holy as a temple .

What the old testament believers had was visitation in arks and burning bush but we the new testament believers have indwelling of the very essence of God as recorded on Pentecost day with speaking in tongues

The elders were not recorded to have interceded on behalf of the saints but were custodians of the prayers of the saints ......If you are the secretary that brings files for treatment, that doesn't make you an intercessor without whom the files can't pass through for attention......Nowhere in the scripture was it recorded that a dead person interceded on behalf of the living even the story of the rich fool tells us that the idea was rejected for he was told that enough living persons are doing that

then by that statement..

easymancfc:

indeed.. Just like the Cherubims on the ark of the covenant (exo 25:18), the bronze serpent that brought healing from snake bites (num 21: cool which was pointing to Christ (john 3:14)
Or Solomon and all the Jew's who worship God in his temple because that temple is filled with "idol" see 1 kings 6 and 7..

Re: The Catholic Faith: What You Need To Know by Amberon: 4:29pm On May 22, 2017
Do you not understand what bowing in worship means. Why going round in circles. I already said this before.
easymancfc:

I don't know what kind of bowing you're talking about...

LIKE I SAID EVEN BIBLICALLY.. NOT ALL BOWING CONNOTE WORSHIP.. AND WE HAVE TOLD YOU THAT OURS DOESN'T CONNOTE WORSHIP.. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING MORE THAN I DO..

HERE ARE SOME BIBLICAL BOWING WHICH DO NOT CONNOTE WORSHIP

1 kings 2:19 So Bathshe′ba went to King Solomon, to speak to him on behalf of Adoni′jah. And the king rose to meet her,and bowed down to her;

Gen 33:6 Then the maids drew near, they and their children, and bowed down; 7 Leah likewise and her children drew near and bowed down; and last Joseph and Rachel drew near, and they bowed down.

Gen 27:29 Let peoples serve you,and nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and may your mother’s sons bow down to you.

psalm 72:9 May his foes bow down before him,

If all bowing is worship then Jesus would be causing people to be idolatrous by his words in Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and learn that I have loved you.

ALL THIS DO NOT MEAN WORSHIP
