I was shipped iphone7 since last week via UPS and yesterday i was told it was being held by custom for duty and tax... Please how do i go about paying this fees as its my first time of getting goods outside Nigeria

you have to pay. this item has a price tag limit for which attract a fee. you should have used a shipping agent or tell the person to package it as gift item

You should contact ups , Ups will be the one to direct you on how to pay it. Go to there office .

it's my first time using UPS, so i didn't know how they worked

I paid 300$ to get it to Nigeria and I'll still pay 100k again?

Next time use shipping agent . The item is with Ups but waiting for custom to determine import duty . That will be pass on to you. The best thing is to go to ups office at Gbagada and there will tell you all you need to do.
