You're spot on, sir. One of the survival skills I've learnt since living overseas is integration. Integrating with the locals of any country you find yourself is the best way to understand their culture, tradition, food, and every day Dos and Don'ts. Another survival skill I've learnt is to avoid places with a large concentration of Nigerians.

truely not so interested in meeting Nigerians here...just quite amazed I haven't seen any black....im married to a citizen.....and u should know how many local people i've actually been dealing with as nlaws and friends ....so read between d lines bro.

I understand you, bro. Like you, I'm also in a bi-racial marriage relationshi that's blessed with a beautiful daughter. One of the ways I've been able to stay trouble-free is by avoiding places where there are lots of Nigerians. Although there are times when I crave for that 9ja 'how far, wetin dey' conversation which nothing compensates for. To satisfy that crave, I usually hang out with a few of the most responsible 9ja guys here. Enjoy your life in New Zealand..

you might want to visit papatoetoe, South Auckland. There is an Edo woman selling african food and making hair there...you will see black people there. Jump on the train and get off at papatoetoe....ask around for african braids shop near the vegetable store or find your way to the shopping centre...its should be abt 7 min walk from train station.
