Following the bomb blast that rocked the Manchester Arena on Monday evening, donations have been pouring in from all quarters to assist victims of the bomb blast.

Ivorian and Manchester City player, Yaya Toure and his agent, Dimitri Seluk, have made a pledge of £100,000 to towards the victims support funds.

Toure is said to have been devastated by the impact of the attack on innocent children who fell victim of the wicked minded elements of the society and wants to do everything possible to assist them.

According to his Seluk, “What happened in Manchester is very sad and Yaya wants to help the people caught up in this terrible attack and also their families.

“At times like this football means nothing. Manchester is not City or United at this moment, the people are together as one and we want to help them.

“Yaya loves Manchester. He loves the people who have made him very welcome and he has been very shocked by this attack on the city.

“Yaya is from the Ivory Coast and I am from Russia, but we want to do what we can for Manchester.

“We all cried when we heard that children had been killed and injured. To see on the news that an eight-year-old girl had died was terrible.
Seluk further confirmed their readiness towards redeeming the pledge he and his player made.

“We don’t know how the donation will be made. Perhaps Yaya can present a cheque to the local newspaper, but the offer is there and we will make plans on how the money can be paid in the coming days.

“We have agreed to donate £50,000 each to help the victims of this terrible crime. It doesn’t matter whether the victims are from Manchester or not.”

Ever since the news of the blast broke, an appeal was raised to help raise funds to support victims of the attack.
