dangotesmummy:
Be deceiving yourself

Children always trafficked to other African countries to be used as domestic slaves or the ones Hawking wares during school hours or the ones forced into marriage or raped and threatened by close relatives

Yesterday on my way back from work I saw a little girl looking between 13-14 heavily pregnant. Her pregnancy was looking like she was 7 or 8 months gone in her 3rd trimester.she could barely carry herself, she was just walking aimlessly. Tattered hair, confused looking, and was looking really dirty.I was like and this one has parents o who might not even give a Sh*t about her whereabouts not to talk about whoever got her pregnant.

Children are the leaders of tomorrow indeed

Don't even let me talk about young adolescent boys between 10-14 smoking weed at garages ,walking drectionless and looking hopeless and angry in berger.if you really think Nigeria cares about children, you're on a long thing, but happy children's day thougj but Nigeria is a complete disappointment to children
and you expected us to take you serious

u left a wandering child to herself who happens to need ur help in anyway or the other but u couldn't help her nor make attempt to even ask her simple question a normal Nigerian I'm sure would have asked
"what's ur name and why are u here"?

yet u came on the internet in the comfort of your room I suppose to Blame Nigeria(n's) for their nonchalant attitude towards children of which u are part of (cos u just did according to ur story)

now take a mirror place it b4 u and u'll see the perfect picture of someone who doesn't care about children

sip on that

God bless my beloved country Nigeria and no where else

the question is IS A CHILD SUPPOSED TO BE PREGNANT AND WANDERING AROUND AT THAT TIME OF THE DAY IF SHE HAS RESPONSIBLE PARENTS? DO NORMAL PARENTS EXPOSE OR ENDANGER THEIR KIDS OR GIVE THEM UP TO THE WICKEDNESS OF THE SOCIETY

DO NORMAL PARENTS FORCE OR SELL THEIR CHILDREN INTO MARRIAGE OR PROSTITUTION BECAUSE OF POVERTY

ARE CHILDREN NGOS WORKING TO GET VULNERABLE CHILDREN OFF THE STREETS OR GO TO SEMINARS TO SHOW OFF

DO NORMAL PARENTS SMOKE INDIAN HEMP INBTHE PRESENCE OF THEIR CHILDREN AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO SMOKE AND SELL?

ARE RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS HELPING MATTERS OR LABELLING CHILDREN WITCHES?

No you answer the question

I would have answered your questions logically but I won't cos u stylishly dodge mine

all those blame game is what is affecting large majority of Nigerians today .
u spoke of NGOs a beg isn't NGOs owned by humans like u or are they aliens?
u talked of parents being careless, well I'll pass on that cos I got proves around me too where I live but I can also tell u that amongst these neglected children I've advice or help some both morally , spiritually and materially with the little I can afford
its not until I open a NGO or become a parent .if I don't act like a parent now or act like a supposed NGO would do now , how I'm I suppose to be equipped when u finally become one?

I understand you may be pained by the way most parents/guardians handled their wards but like the buhari administration would say " change begins with me"

peace

no I didn't deliberately dodge your question but I intentionally raised those question for you to see things in the light of the way I'm seeing things.

Of course I could have given her money but if I give her let's say 500 naira or 1k.will that solve the issue at hand.if that money sustains her for breakfast and lunch will it take care of the human being that is about to be born into poverty? Will 500 naira or paltry amount educate her or her child? Will it solve the bastardization of children? You too reason it na

I understand u had a one way rational reason that moment
but heres what u would have done next time u could at least spoken to her and get to know her conditions(provided its a safe/sane neighborhood sha) then from there you could know if u can refer her to any NGo that could be of help

that's my take on that issue ..given her money won't be an entirely bad idea too tho you can a least with that touch a life in ur own way
