we really need to stop this tribal banter, most especially when it has to do with criminal cases. I am an Igbo man, if he is found wanting, the courts should be allowed to do their job unhindered. Uba is a wealty man, that can be able to manipulate or distort the outcome of criminal case. If he has nothing to hid and his supporters beleive so too, then they have nothing to worry about.
So if someone is owing you 18 billion and you have his goods worth 11 billion, you will carry the goods and give it back to him, while waiting for him to pay you the 18 billion?
Abet make Una dey reason well sha....cos NNPC has even acknowledged that they are owing that amount. Yet nobody is talking about it

Ubah has capable lawyers, and can afford 30 SANS to defend him. If there's an agreement where nnpc is indepted to him and another agreement which states that the debts owed by nnpc is transferable, then trust he will be vindicated. All these cry of tribal witch-hunt isn't doing anyone any good.
Why is it not witch-hunt? Why haven't they charged him to court?
He will floor DSS court that's is why they are running up and down, getting court injunctions to hold him for more days or weeks without charging him to court.
Brother, it is witch-hunt.

Abeg....let the law take its course.

Not too long ago....Otedola was dragged through the courts for subsidy scam.

And Dantata too had AMCON seize his properties....for debt.

Let DSS allow Ubah face the courts. If he is guilty....so be it.If not....let him go.

We should not excuse wrong doing because X is an Igbo or Hausa or Yoruba or whatever. We all suffer from stealing what belongs to all of us.

and why havent they arraigned him in court why are they keeping him hostage you bloody afonja

Firstly, I said "impunity reeks in Nigeria", which means Ubah isn't the first as there are many who haven't been prosecuted. The comment further labeled Ubah a criminal and was quick to assert that there are many like him who haven't gone near a court house talk more of facing a judge.

This means Ubah may be guilty and yes, he's not the only one

Please, always endeavor to read and understand before you quote people.

Federal government owes capital oil 18billion, just do the maths. They still owe him 7billion, so who should be arresting who.

according to u and uba, why don't u sue nnpc over the 17billion naira or its by shouting up and down without concrete evidence?

Seem a lot of people have lost memory of history, this story started with Capital Oil and MRS diverting million of litres of petrol kept in their tank farm. MRS has accepted wrong doings and has paid back the cash equivalent of what was diverted, hence no case was drag for further prosecution. Reasons why Ifeanyi Ubah Capital Oil decides to ride on in impunity eludes me, NNPC owing him whatever is inconsequential in this case even if it is true.

You did not read the bit where I said....let the law take its course..and where I said...Let DSS allow Ubah face the courts.

And by the way,get rid of this tribalistic thing. You don't know me...I did not abuse you, yet you chose to abuse me by calling me 'bloddy afonja'.

Sometimes,I wonder if some of the people who respond to me think about what they say. Would you call your boss, pastor, etc bloody?

Better be more corteous. I find your comments a sad reflection of who you are.

A 'criminal' based on what premise? Has ever been convicted by any Law Court Or you just wake up and start calling people criminals?
That's is the problem with Nigerians. If someone, were to see you and start calling you criminal, what will you say?
I ain't the one with comprehension problem.

I wasn't really championing a Tribal cause. My point is that, if DSS really has issues with Ubah, they should charge him to court. Instead of running up and down, obtaining injunctions to keep him in custody without any real charge in court.
Let us for once do the right things.
