It's a fact that Biafrans had an emblem of their flag on their shoulders. But this army here had none. Anyways, I conducted a little research about the truth of this picture. Here is it;

Footage of the execution of two officers of the Nigerian Army in Benin City during the country's Civil War. The men had been charged and convicted under NA Ordinance Act (1950) s.72 of killing four unarmed civilians in the town of Ogwashi-Uku.

The civilians were two employees of Barclays Bank, a Police Inspector and a Prison Warder.

Both men were shot separately with a three-minute interval. They had been tied to two pillars in front of 24 sand-filled oil drums.

The new Nigerian Army Chief of Staff, Brigadier Hassan Katsina said that the executions were intended to serve as a deterrent to troops.

Several hundred onlookers watched the executions and several of them fainted.

One source is a Syndicated newspaper article originating from the London Observer and published by the News Journal of Mansfield, Ohio on Thursday, July 11th 1968.
