I am planning to buy a new phone. The latest tecno phones seems to be very cheap, yet looks sophisticated. I feel like getting the phantom 6 + but the offer seems to be too be good. Why is this brand of phone particularly cheap?

They're trying to bring a semblance of Iphone/Samsung quality at an affordable price

Their luxury flagship is about that 100k range
