If it's your first dog, why are you looking for an adult? Your first dog should be a puppy not an adult. So your 70k can get you a very pure and fresh caucasian shepherd puppy

I think he should start with a Gsd, that amount can get him a good straightback german shepherd. Good quality Caucasians cannot go for that price unless it's from a puppy mill

In Ibadan, a pure straighback GSD is about N30/50k and with N70k (If well negotiated) he can get a pure caucasian as well. Pure rotts are 60k here in Ibadan. Dogs aren't as expensive here and they are pure breeds it all depends on how far the buyer is willing to go. Most GSD in Ibadan kennels are straight backs

Boy making my head swell with his recovery, slowly and effectively, taking one day at a time, he's winning this. We believe.

i would never in my life go for a gsd. gsd that i had seen for almost free of chare. caucasian is my choice and no going back. a guy was dissappointed when he left his boerboer for me, only to come back after two weeks to see wonder. he was amazed to see how well i treated the dog. within two weeks he went for an occassion, he was scared because i never handle a foreign dog but to his greatest surprise, he was amazed. see, i know what i am capable of. my love for dogs is immeasurable and i can handle any dog. if not for the fact that, i spent much on the cage (very capacious and its double) , i would have bought the caucasian. i would definately come here to introduce him/her to you when i get it. just a little time now.

Lol what is your beef with the GSD? It's a fantastic breed and loved by many. The one you got almost free of charge couldn't have been local german. They are many in ibadan. 5k only

I dont hav anything against gsd. I dnt just like them. I ws in love wit a pitbull b4 i got to knm of a caucasian. Bt since i knw cc, i dislike pit. Aint gettin anythin except a cc. They are damn beautiful, big, bold and energetic.

Hi Chief. Good day. I'd like to adopt your dog sir. I have good experiences with big dogs - once trained a Rott and im currently training a female straight back German Shepherd. I'm also a pharmacist, so i understand how to manage arthritis. Also, I understand that the dog will eventually recognize me as its new owner/friend in due cause. Patience and care being the major keyd. I reside in lagos

Initially put up threads (check my two most recent threads for more information) offering this two dogs for sale because I dont have time for them like Im supposed to. Things have changed and now the Caucasian is available to any interested individual who can meet the conditions of release.

The reason for the sudden change in the price and arrangement is because the Caucasian has arthritis in his left hip. It was just diagnosed on Sunday and he's receiving treatment already. The cause was attributed to his rapid growth and huge size. The vet has assured that he's going to be fine since it was discovered early.
However, I still don't have that amount of time that taking care of him requires, hence my decision to still let him go.

Now the terms of release is thus: I'm allowing any interested individuals (who can manage and help with his recovery) to adopt him free of charge for the cost of the Doberman. The Doberman is a perfect guard dog with impeccable security awareness and in perfect condition.

In short, buy the Doberman and get the Cauc for free.

Now I intend to release the dobie at 150 but if you want them, you can state your price and we work something out if it's acceptable. There will be no buy-back clause

Please be reminded that the condition has not impaired his guard instincts, his overall health is in great state, (you won't even notice if I didn't tell you) he's still a normal dog and he'll pull through this. We just need to slow down his growth and cut down his weight as he heals and you have to prove that you can help him recover. Every medication needed has been procured, all he needs his just someone to dedicate time to his recovery.

Not all first time dog owners will fail at raising a CO or Rott, or BB as always believed. It's bores down to research and sound preparation. If he knows what he's doing, he will be just fine. Let's push the stereotyping aside. Some "experienced" dog owners will fail in raising a CO. And a dog is as good as he's trained.

Handling a dog for someone for 2 weeks is different from handling your own dog for life! So he may have some experience handling other dogs but for how long? Has he OWNED a dog before? How is his income and expenditure like? The CO won't be eating rice and beans you know.

That is why I recommended the GSD for him as it's best for first time owners not handlers. You can be a dog handler for years and never an owner. A owner is very different.

i disagree with you sir. apart from being more intelligent making it to be easier to train, every other thing, cc all the way. if you are able to train a cc, then, it will listen to your commands. check online, you will see different caucasians that won dog shows. even though, in terms of protection, co is overprotective.

what is so special about co? iv seen very big co that is friendly with everyone {though outside, i dont how about his home but play with everyone}. and with many research, i was able to gather that, socializing them when they are still puppies will make them non-wide. so, what are we talking about
