YOU HAVE A PISTOL, STOP PULLING THE TRIGGER.
A pistol is a small gun, while the trigger is the small piece lever on the gun use to fire the gun. You have a powerful pistol with a trigger. As small as this pistol is, it can destroy a family and set ablaze a whole nation. That pistol is your tongue. Each time you talk, you are pulling the trigger. Your tongue is that small part of your body in your mouth, it has no bone, but it can break a bone. The Bible warns us to control our tongues, James 1:26. The Bible says, we shall give account of every words we say. We are warned not to speak evil of any man. Some people have incurred curses, sicknesses, even premature death, because of the misuse of their tongues. Death and life, lies on your tongues. We are warned against jesting, foolish talking, indeed, the Bible says, all lies will end up in the lake of fire. James, advice that, we be quick to hear and slow to speak. Always think deep before you talk. Don't talk when angry. Learn to be a bit more secretive, especially to enemies that appear as friends. You don't have to always talk. Stop being a talkative. Stop destroying people with your tongue. Talk less to people, talk more to God and your life will change.
