Op nice innovations... Thanks for giving this opportunity to us.
I'm an agricultural student in a polytechnic with lots of practical experience. Starting a small scale business with one of this had been my aim,and I must add now is the right time for one of this business(Muslims Ramadan) the tapioca processing.with much research done, the market is good but people aren't venturing yet.
If am lucky enough to get this money I can kick start this processing.

I have passion for agriculture, am an aspirant of uniport to study agric economics and extension and i have always said it that catfish farming is one of the most lucrative businesses in Nigeria, because you can get up to 200 percent return on your capital in a year. You can start small and grow big in it. The Federal government policy in Nigeria will help serious-minded investors to explore the opportunity in fish farming – especially when policy related to ban on importation of fish is fully implemented. Also, adding value to our catfish production will earn me additional fortune. my fellow nairalanders if am to win this 5k i'll be prepared to setup a catfish farm.

U didn't mention that the business must be legal. I have a lot of weed smokers in school hostel. Especially those Red Cross, Man O War, RAPCON, Boys Scout etc sha. They can smoke weed for African. And they go extra mile to get weed. I also have an officer friend who could bring in shipments every weekend while driving he boss home. If I can raise 10k to start this business. I will be matching a 4MATIC Benz come 2018

To the student that can come up with a great business plan they will like to start while in university.

This is my small way of investing in your business and promoting entrepreneurship mindset while you are a teenager or young adult

1. State the reason why your business deserves this fund.
2. If your comment has the most likes and shares then you will be funded
3. Ensure that you have an account number not planning to use one of your relatives or friends
4. Voting closes by Saturday night and money will be paid on Sunday morning by , so you can give testimony cool grin cheesy
5. If i like the winners business idea and I find it very innovative I would increase the fund to more than 10,000

May the best win as your time starts now!!!

Export of agricultural products.

1. It is highly sustainable chances of it crashing is low and Also other business will be brought in as time goes on.(diversification) Exampled of other businesses dat can be gotten from it is transportation (airlines) e.t.c.

2. High returns or profit.

3. High demand for such goods in other countries.

4. Close proximity to the market.

5. Goods are insured in case of accident or disaster.

Good day,

my business idea is content writing service and online tutorial.

you may ask: all these for 5k but this is the break down.

. my content writing services encompasses article writing, blog post, designing of content strategy, sales letter, tag lines, e.t.c

this will also help my online tutorial hosted via FB groups to teach people how to write. the training will be free but I will monetise by selling e-books (at rates of N1,500) believe me I have my marketing plan and strategy. I have the name of the business already.

what will I use the money for?
1. for branding: I will get a cheap logo and branding materials for lower rates. (1,500)
2. to assemble a team of freelance writers (1 person per article = N500)
3. To design my book cover

I believe this is a flexible business that will not interfere with my studies, has reasonable profit margin, appeals to the Nigerian market and have plans for diversification. Also consider the fact that it is a Value driven business

Nairaland help a bro win this grant. Just a like can make the difference.

My books/services will have a percentage cut for everyone in the Nairaland community because I love here. contact: prynxayobamee@gmail.com

In as much as the OP has good intentions..using likes to judge is bad and perverse.. Some people have more than 20 alternate accounts,so what if the like themselves?....also it is proven that those on the first page usually get more likes than those on pages..is that fair?...you should look for better ways to choose a winner...nice try though...selah!!!!

Good evening op.
For me, I may not have any business plan now bkos I'm still even suffering to sustain myself as a student. I have a current predicament which is the payment of my sch fees. It is N21000 which my parents can't afford. It has been a sad thought for me since the first week of my lecture. I've reached so many pple and all turn deaf ears on me.
Very soon, the portal will close and payment won't be allowed anymore. I won't be allowed to write my exams and it may lead to the forfeiture of my admission (in which I absolutely reject)

Sometimes I wonder why things are like this. I have the zeal to read and have this strong feeling that I will make it in life through education. The devil has also brought some bad ideas to my mind that I even start to regret that I came from this my family.
My 100 level school fees and acceptance was sponsored by a kind landlord (of blessed memory) in which I know God will repay him.

You and others may see this epistle I wrote as a way of begging. I'm a beggar, I agree but if anyone reading this can assist me, I will never forget it.
Your n5000 can go a long way in helping me than u can imagine.

Once again, I don't have any business plan, but I want a kind hearted fellow to consider my case.
I have a lot of proof if u are interested.

Good evening!

Five small scale businesses i can
start with as low as five thousand Naira. 1. Zobo making; Zobo ingredients are not expensive, all you need to do is learn from
someone who is good, make your product
chilled and clean, set a target market. 2. Tiger nut (Ofio) juice making: Blend Tiger nut (Ofio) with date (dabinu), sieve till it’s smooth. Pack in bottles and chill. It’s one healthy choice of drink. 3. Fresh fruit blending: Start with two whole deliciously ripe watermelons, blend
properly till it’s smooth, pack in bottle and
chill. You can then start mixing fruits to
blend. 4. Tea making (hot and cold): People drink tea when they are out. As long as you
are neat and your product is not expensive,
people will patronize you. Neatness is key to
tea making. Make healthy tea like green tea, coffee (Decaffeinated and caffeinated) along
with other beverages.

Thanks op.
I recently wrote jamb and passed.
I had to beg here to get the form and i vowed that would never happen again and i would be financially ready by the time we're called for clearance.
I've been going to a salon to learn the basic steps in making but she insisted if i want the full training i would have to pay a certain amount.
Now i got an ushering job, to save up for it.
Its 36k and the 5,000 would be a 5% step ahead in achieving my entrepreneurship aim.
