Permanent Residence for
Graduates finalised


The Department of Home Affairs yesterday published
the following Directive signed by the Minister of Home
Affairs. The Directive grants the below waivers in
respect of applications made by foreign graduates
who studied at South African tertiary institutions
towards degrees in the areas of critical skills.


The waiver allows foreign graduates to apply for
Permanent Residency waiving the requirement of the
following documentation usually essential in terms of
Section 27(b) of the Act –


Certificate from a Professional Body recognised by
SAQA confirming the skills and qualifications of the
applicant


Proof of post-qualification experience of at least five
years


Testimonials from previous employers and a
comprehensive curriculum vitae

@welf99 thanks, but thus this applicable to those who had not study in south africa higher institutions but wanted to apply for critical skills visa.

I applied for my Visting Visa last week tuesday and i Just received àn email that its ready for collection at VHF office. it took 5-6 working days. Am waiting on UPS to deliver it my house. I hope my VISA was granted. keeping my fingers crossed

I was issued a tourist SA visa 2014 but did not travel till expiration. I want to apply for another tourist visa with my husband. How do I go about it? And can I still use the yellow card. Thanks

there is no reason why you can not apply for one now.just apply normally with genuine documents
