You can use your lecturers or superior at work. By superior, I mean your supervisor, manager, director, etc. They must be people who know you and can vouch for you. Having said that, I do not include references on my clients' CVs.

Thanks for the prompt reply. So one can have a good CV without including reference?

In fact, I see it as a waste of space. You can google "Professional CV Samples" or "Professional Resume Samples" and see if referees are included.
