Hello people,
'Kudos to you for the good work you are doing here. I have learnt a lot. Me sef don turn agent finish.lol.

I left banking last year June to do my fashion business(which is unregistered) however i have 10yrs experience which is within 2 banks (Sales RM - NOC6235)My concern is this: will it be a problem to say one is unemployed from when i left the last job till date? Can I get the letters from my previous employer now as I intend entering the pool by September(POF issues)?

Thank you.

Hello house,
I salute everyone here contributing towards a better and successful application process for all the readers. Please I have a question about NOC, I have 3 years of experience as a bank Teller. I was recruited by an HR company as a contract staff and seconded to Ecobank till when I resigned last year. I am really confused as to whether my NOC will fall under Banking officer(Class B) or Bank clerk(class C). I proceeded last week to collect a reference letter from my former employer which is the HR company. They wrote on the letter that I was a staff of their company and was seconded to Ecobank as a Universal Teller till March last year when I resigned. Please what class of NOC can I apply to as a Universal Teller? As I read that the NOC class must be O,A or B to qualify under the FWS program. I thank you all in advance to your helpful contributions.
Note: I have another work experience of 1 year which is under class B category. Is 1 year experience of class B NOC sufficient to qualify to PR application?

This seems tough. It appears with had an employment contract with your company, who then seconded you to Ecobank. Apparently, you were on a contract basis with Ecobank. I think, Bank Tellers fall under class C and probably ineligible- I'm not so sure here.

There is also the challenge for you to get a work reference. Well you might get this from your branch supervisor. If you have a fantastic relationship with him/her. Also, If you can revise your experience to a Class B and get supporting documents for it - fine.

First if NOC6235 is a Class 0, A or B - then you're okay with your 2 years banking experience which falls within the 10 years of your work life.

There is no problem to indicate you are unemployed. In reality you are not, but you refused to register your business. No problem here at all.

Your employers should be able to give you reference. You worked with them.

Thanks @Boss13.....I hope they will be willing to issue it. But I would prefer not having to take that route if possible.

Am no longer a practicing lawyer. I advised her to look for FIDA in her location. They offer free legal services for women.

Please what reference are you using? Law firms? Or Legal Adviser to a company?

Sorry, I just read where you mentioned that you're a government worker.

Hi all,

Please I need the gurus in the house to help with this.

I'm about getting into the pool and I'm planning to use "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees" for my education factor since I have an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA).

My question is do I need to evaluate this with my B.Sc. (Using WES or IQAS)

Then is it possible to add more certificates to IQAS after the completion of application and payment made.
i[b]f you have additional certs for evaluation after payment all u need do is pay the extra fees for the new cert and inform them

I have a funded dollar account already. First bank issued a visa card, but payment on the card is not going through. Never used it before, so am guessing it is a debit card not credit card. The MCC site requires credit card
Hello
Is it First bank Visa gold card you got? In the past, I had to make a payment that required a credit card and First bank recommended the Visa gold card. It worked then too. Its meant to be a debit card that functions like a credit card.

With a B.sc alone, you can't get 100 points under skills transferability. You get 50points for good language score combined with 3 years work and another 50 points for good language score and 2 or more post secondary credentials, masters and all that. B.sc with good language gives just 25 points here.

bigbroda:

Sorry for dat. 8777 and work experience/maximum level of education go together I think. I said I think cos I can't remember if it's just with d 3 years work experience only or with a Masters degree. I'm very sure it's with one of the two which I can't remember d precise one or both. I've played with d CRS calculator severally and I discovered dat I can only score 50 in skill transferability if I have anything short of 8(L)777. I have d max 3 yrs work experience and MSc.

I'm sure u got 75 cos of your years of experience probably less than 3 years or qualification(not having Masters degree). Try manipulate those on d CRS tool to understand better.

Hi all,

Please, I want to get something clear; the part that says two or more certificates, does it matter if it is post-secondary and secondary certificate?

it must be a first bank thing. debit cards work just fine for mcc payments as long as its a foreign currency denominated card. try contacting your bank.

I have oo. But MCC is insisting on credit card. Thank you
