Members of the National Association of Nigerian Students are currently engaged in massive protest at the National Assembly in FCT Abuja.

According to Punch, an ongoing massive protest by the members of the National Association of Nigerian Students is ongoing. The protest was as a result of the non-recognition of their president Mr. Chinoso Obasi, during the second anniversary of the National Assembly in Abuja on Friday.

NANS with their political agenda...The association no longer represent the interest of Nigerian student on like before.Everything has turn to politic.God help

NANS is gradually losing it's nautical ,they are subtly drifting into the borgoiuse political sphere which is not impressive at all.

When we were in school, NANS was a very stern pressure group of Nigerian students that keeps government's excesses in check.

Is this protest sensible? I don't want any loss of life o. Are the students part of National Assembly? Or Dogara invited them and did not give them special recorgnition. Hmn, NAS president is now the number 5 man in Nigeria. Nigeria! Nigeria!

Most of these NANS executives are long done being an undergraduate and thus most times misrepresent the Nigerian students.

Hmm....they are not fighting about the poor quality of education...they are not fighting about the incessant strikes in lautech...neither are they fighting for laws to improve the living standards in Nigeria....I pity the next generations for the coming sets of student leader turned politicians
