The Igbos generally dont care any more about the presidency of Nigeria. It wont do anything fir us same as it didnt do anything for all those who held it before. As for those who say they not part of Biafra, they are mainly political office holders and their acolytes who are trying to protect their jobs in Nigeria

The real people who have fought, suffered and went to jail like Asari Dokubo will tell you any day that they are true Biafrans.

Several times, I have failed to understand how One group has grossly failed in diplomacy on its way to suicidal failure.
The Igbo ethnic group, one that boasts of numerous successful individuals at home and in diaspora, has been ridiculed by underdogs and switched into a laughing stock, by itself.
It is agreed that Biafra agitation has lived for over a decade since inception of this Republic, but never, did it become so widespread, until the most hated president unacceptable to the SE, rose into Power. BOOM!! Every child and girl in SE becomes a Pro-Biafran.
Kanu lacks ideologies, diplomacy and leadership qualities. Because I do not understand why, after raising his national profile on exiting prison, failed to meet face-to-face with traditional leaders of South-South, in order to reach a truce and formal agreement with their people, instead he goes about promoting maps drawn up by forcefully cutting in people's land without their consent, posting it online and calling it Biafran map. This has led to backlash, insults, deriding from peoples of SS; Ikwerres, Itshekiri, Urhobo, Ibibio, and several others. I believe if a formal agreement had been reached with their traditional rulers, there would not be any mud clogging the wheels of the secession movement.

In this Uyo I am in. I am tired of hearing "Igbo's will never produce a President in the next 20years, infact Akpabio stands to become it, before any Igbo man", from one Ubong. And I am not doubting the talks because just when Buhari would finish his 2nd term and handed over to SE, the SE blew the chances with their Biafra noise, now the baton seems to favour a North-Central next.

Thats because Lugard did not consult anyone when he put us all in Nigeria. There is no need to consult anyone, everyone knows what Biafra is about. When referendum comes, you people in Uyo can vote to continue with Nigeria and allow those who want to exit to do so.
