Predestination?

Its been approximately six months since I left the shores of Nigeria. I'm still trying to "understand" life here sha. My life has flashed before my eyes on two separate occassions. One time back in Nigeria during my undergraduate days I boarded a bike and narrowly missed an accident. And the more recent one, here in the USA; this time, I wasn't so lucky.

Like I stated in one of my previous posts, I normally take a 45 - 1hr drive to Chicago to play soccer. One sunday, after my shift at BK, I rushed home, picked up my sports gear and dashed out. I was somehow late, the soccer meetup had started some minutes ago and I was basically still 30 minutes away, I decided to "hasten up", so I entered the extreme left lane (which is reserved for those who want to speed). I was clocking 85-90mph and still pushing my jalopy to accelerate and keep up with the pace on the lane. Next thing I knew, one delivery van veered into my lane, I slammed on the brakes as hard as I could but it wasn't enough, I crashed into the vehicle.

Due to the fact that I hit the brakes, the impact was reduced a little, so the damage was not much (or so I thought). I couldn't just park on the freeway to access the damage, so I decided to jejely reach the venue. I drove the rest of the journey at a sane pace. On getting to the soccer pitch, I got to the parking lot, turned off the engine, did the sign of the cross and came down to access the damage. It was bad.

haaaaaa! frank na part of experience so dont worry too much

Predestination in scientific analogy.
Destiny is a function of time, and is covered in grace. The programmer has arranged the system the way it should function, giving right to every system dominion to operate. If in-between the lines, one of the systems fails to follow the principle, it is likely possible to affect the other system. That is when you see one man's negligence, resulting to other man's casualty. The system will also contribute to the prestination. There is always service life duration to every system, and may either fail due to fatigue or other factors, probably, not being adherent to the principle of its function. So, the bottom line is, follow the principle of life, you get long service life. In everything, It is all about the maker's grace, the programmer.
Sorry about the accident. Jejely bro life has no duplicate.

Abuja or Lagos?

If it's Lagos, they should check out QLife health clinic. I think someone mentioned something about the clinic on this thread.

Long story short, the man dey teach me programming and coding. Apparently, he thinks I would make so much money by coming up against nigerian scammers; "companies would pay big bucks for that", he said.

Each day, we do 30mins to 1hr of the stuff after I've done my mandatory chores which include helping him exercise, emptying the dish washer (dem no dey use hand wash plate), vacuuming (them no dey sweep) and other little household chores.

The man get both Ps4, Xbox1 and Xbox360.

Bottomline is, this job doesn't feel like a job no more. grin
I'm basically having fun

----------------------------------------------------

Back to the predestination question.

Did I have to get into that accident? So I would meet the mechanic who would then nudge me to search for better jobs? and in the end come in contact with Mr J?

Only time will tell.

Just caught up!...on accident. ... that's basically a hit and run. The guy should've settled with you on the spot...paid you cash.... otherwise.... call the Police. Any other agreement ... the Police would write a report which would serve as evidence if he fails to keep his promise. If he doesn't want to settle then the Police and your insurance should've been informed. If the cost of repairs is greater than the value of the car... the car would've been written off and you paid the value. As it is now... the truck driver can accuse you of hit and run. Always....either settle on spot or make a report.
On your new job... you got it good. You never know what Military vets know.... guess you now be like just going to hang out and get paid. In time he may arrange to have you drop the agency which is receiving a percentage of your pay. You'll make quite a bit more.
On predestination..... at times things happen for a reason..... if predestination is real... we can do nothing to change the outcome... so why even bother? ...you take care of today and tomorrow will take care of itself.
Great thread!

Where's your dad? You are in need of a manual resetting.

Stay in school. At 300 level you're almost done. After school you can take whatever path you wish.
