Nigeria's Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has approved the appointment of new members onto the board of the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB.

Emmanuel E. Attah-Member, Rivers (South-South Zone)
Danjuma Sado-Member, Edo (South-South Zone)
Ubolo I. Okpanachi-Member, Kogi (North-Central Zone)
Ken Madaki Alkali-Member, Nasarawa (North-Central Zone)
Prof. S. F. Ogundare -Member, Oyo (South-West Zone)
Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat -Member, Ogun (South-West Zone)
Sa’ad A. Abubakar-Member, Gombe (North-East Zone)
Dr. Vincent Nwanli-Member, Ebonyi (South-East Zone)


The appointments are subject to confirmation by the senate.

This Osinbajo has so cheapishly been intimidated into appointing Northerners left,right centre since he was accused of favoring only Southerners.
I hate to be a kill joy or being too puristic,but I am looking at this Osinbajo with another eye o!
Someone blackmailed u with false accusation and u can't be man enough to bluff that blackmail,instead u av cheapishly started carrying out d aim of d blackmail:all your appointments since then are Northern leaning!

The CCB is the anti corruption agency that has the primary responsibility of checking corruption in the Nigeria Public Service. Whether they have been doing their job properly before 2015 is a question many will like to ask. They only burst into limelight about 2 yrs ago. The Public Service is full of corruption from top to bottom at both Fed and State levels. The newly appointed Board should act fast by going after corrupt public office holders. There should be no wasting of time. Get down to serious business. Many are squandering our resources.

This smells like Buhari's input.

Once a northerner is the head, such appointment was only approved by VP and not made by him.

Note I'm a buhari and Osinbajo unrepentant supporter, but I honestly feel somehow about some of his appointments
