Peace be unto you my sister (or rather brother) from "The People of the Book". I am sorry if you took offense but i meant no disrespect or harm. I wasn't speaking, (but i was writing) so by extension, my mouth couldn't have been open. Thanks for the compliment given to the Muslims, albeit not intended. At least they were of help, even if it was "only because of ramadan" (according to you). True practicing Muslims exhibit the same good traits both during and outside the holy month of ramadan. We just increase in our goodness and worship in the month of Ramadan because of the numerous blessings therein. So be rest assured that their actions wouldn't have been any different "if not for Ramadan"

Thanks for your observations. Please don't assume there are no other holy months. I was specifically referring to this holy month of ramadan,which holds a special place in the hearts of the adherents of Islam. I don't think what i prayed for is any different from other religious prayers said on special days such as Easter, Christmas, Sabbath etc.

But Allah sees the souls of all men, and will give each his due recompense.

Both church and mosque were on ground to render humanitarian services to the fire victims that is the report. WE only pray and hope something like this should happen in Kaduna Nigeria.
