Its financially suicidal for any country to elevate Taiwan with the same status as China.

China's economy is at least 20 times the size of Taiwan and China is extremely generous with aid and loans to poor and mid income countries without asking questions.

I feel the overbearing image of China which the present Chinese premier is projecting is not just a cause of worry for pro Independence Taiwan but also for other countries in South east Asia and the Far East as well.
