Never knew Nigerian soldiers also fought in WW1. I have only read of their involvement in Burma war during WWII.

what is impressive here, these men were forced to take up arms and also lack the military training. Maybe they were used to clear mine fields

Op, that's the burma war in Congo.

The British used Nigerians and other Africans to fight the war.

This is not world war 1

Burma is in south east Asia and not Congo. It is now known as Myanmar. I also think the picture should be from the WWII Burma war. I have never heard of Nigerian soldiers involvement in WWI.

I think I've watched a documentary about them. The posters above were correct, they were used as pawn and sent to the toughest front in droves just to hold hold positions and buy time for their precious troops.

Nice one.

Listen carefully. There is a scammer on Nairaland his name is chiboy. This guy is a pure scammer and an agent of Satan. All of you joining him in his fake room are bound to be ruined. He has now started charging even when people are loosing heavily.

Please you people should be aware that this guy has never actually won any money for anybody and I will proove it. I think he is working with betting sites to burn your cash. Now to prove that this guy is a demon always calling on God's name to deceive the gullible, here is a run down of how he plays games.

Everyday he brings out 1.2 odds for people right. Funny enough, he looses almost 60% of it! Now lets assume he wins them daily, do you know how many times you have to play to win back your initial capital? 5 Times! Before then, he looses at least 2 or 3 which will reset you back to square zero! Still doubting?

Just imagine playing the so called sure odd 1.2 with 1000. Do you know how much you win at the end of the day? 1200! Minus your stake of 1000. How much remains? 200! What will that reach? You know what again, you have to play at least 5 time to win back your initial capital. Funny enough, people decide to roll over the whole 1,200 due to greed. Before then can play up to 5 times, they loose the whole money! Yet everybody is screamin chibboy games upandan! Most of them are his cronies and friends!

If everybody in that group should calculate the games they played, they will see that they are in heavy loss!

Funny enough, he has been mentioning Gods name up and down and how he is a Moses! Lols. PROPHET INDEED! This is just for you to get your defences down because the average Nigerian is spiritually and religiously "Blind".

He never posts his losses on Nairaland. Just gathering numbers up and down.

Just yesterday, he has started charging people 3,500 for VIP subscription and then 10,000 for Executive. Can you imagine! Gullible people who just joined the room recently without knowing how he lost almost all games are already paying! There loss will be epic. Quote me anywhere.

[b]You want to know how this guy is smart? He gathered over 200 numbers under the guise that he is giving " Free games". When he felt he has gathered enough, he now decides to pounce on his prey! Now, imagine a situation where more than 100 people decide to give him 1,000 naira. Is that not a cool 100k? Cool smart salary right? After mentioning on how God specifically chose him to liberate people from losses..(I hear you ); he now decides to run them down to hell.

Below is a screenshot of the loss of day before yesterday. Mind you, he has lost 3 of this weeks games. The match ended 6-0 in favour of TPS. He played it under 4.5. A friend played that game with 5,000 and lost all immediately. Nairalanders beware.

they were involved in ww1 How did you think they took Cameroon from the Germans and carved it up between the French and British . Their campaign was mostly limited to africa . If I'm not mistaken Some of them also fought in east Africa again men of of von letow voorbeck the German general. In the area of Kenya tangayika now called Tanzania
