QueenOfNepal:Guy no offense, but you fail to understand his point. Think about it, the PIB was proposed more than 10 years ago. The North kept dilly dallying to find a soft landing at the expense of the South. The South made noise, fought and cursed but they did not botch. When they realized that it will be a hard sell to gift the North, and indeed any part of the NE, any amount in terms of derivation fund from crude oil, they went into overdrive and created a Plan B. They invented 2 items by sheer doggedness, tenacity, foresight and stubbornness and masterly using the dual instrument of larger numerical strength in both houses and a subtle bully/threat, which has resulted in the passing into law of these two items by this present national assemblies viz Senate and Legislature howbeit unknowingly or blindly while the SE/SS/SW defending these two items as just and fair. 1. The NE re-construction Bill. 2. Petroleum Community Clause in the PIB which is sure to guarantee them some form of money from oil exploration. Guess what? These two items are being paid for by SS/SE where majority of the crude oil resides. If that is not SMART politicking, I do not know what qualifies for one. While the South went to sleep on the PIB, the North political and economical think tank tinker with it until a landing better illustrated by the common parlance at all at all na be witch. was obtained. Now they are smiling to the bank, while the South South and the South East are holding their dicks in their hand. North- 2 South South/South East- 0 |

| Re: PIB: Kano, Kaduna, Lagos Listed As Host Communities by Nobody: 3:46pm On Jun 16, 2017 |
They should equally include every state where tankers drive pass and every community where there's a petrol station as host communities. Bunch of greedy, slothful and entitled humans! |

This is advanced display of rubbish. We are talkingabout producing states, they'retalking about pipelines routes, refineries. This is rubbish. |
| Re: PIB: Kano, Kaduna, Lagos Listed As Host Communities by Hebraham(m): 5:07pm On Jun 16, 2017 |
OZAOEKPE:The bill is for the oil producing state. The three other state mentioned are to benefit due to the refineries located and the pipeline that passed through the States. |
| Re: PIB: Kano, Kaduna, Lagos Listed As Host Communities by eodavids(m): 5:44pm On Jun 16, 2017 |
The fact that (3 ) three northern states were mentioned as 'host communities' is not a problem. Take note that this is a special coinage which give special meaning to the phrase 'host community'. It is allowed in curtain circumstances to give special meaning to words or phrases within the context of that circumstance. This is a legal document and that special meaning is understandable by any seasoned lawyer around. Host community for the reason that such community is having a key petroleum infrastructure in the states mentioned is not a fraud but a fair play. Note also that, as pointed out above, these communities who have been named as 'host community' for the purpose of this document shall not be receiving equal derivation allocation with those of the communities where oil exploration is a taking place, but rather, the former receives less. Nigerians should welcome this development in the interest of progress. |

It is a shame Nigeria government stopped at Kano and Kaduna in naming the host communities, what such idiotic term was all about. They should have extended it to include Katsina, Zamfara, Borno and Bauchi. |
| Re: PIB: Kano, Kaduna, Lagos Listed As Host Communities by Ikology(m): 7:15pm On Jun 16, 2017 |
I still wonder why the SE is one shouting up and down about the "host community to include communities with pipelines and NNPC depots. Most communities in South east will benefit so why shout against it. The southsouth people you think you defending is never an ally because of their heterogeneous nature. They always see you as wanting to colonize their oils. Sometimes I wonder what you guys want |
