I greet all the mama's and papa's in the house. The worst has happened. AF have refuse to show face and today is cycle day 38. Tried doing home test on Sunday and bllod test today which came out BFN. I don't understand again o. I have never missed my period before since I got married and am ttcing. No symptoms at all. I did not stress myself this month. I saw my menses on 19th of April and then 10th of May which is cd 22 by my calculations but it didn't come out properly and that went on for like 3days. I drink all those things they used in cooking for someone that gave birth in Igbo land (omugo) with hot drink just to see if it will rush well but all to no avail. I have bromogeon, vit E, folic acid, and vit C. Please help a mama. I have been ttcing for 3 years now.

My 28 day period turned 40 after progesterone treatments. Take anything recommended but relax and it will regularise.

So I no see period,did home pregnancy test was Negative..I'm on D38...I refuse to be sad..My main issue now is I'd like to change Gynae because mine has not come for 1month now...and he didn't even tell the hospital his whereabouts (I just weak)..Please mamas recommend a good and affordable Gynae,Egbeda,IKeja axis even Festac I don't mind Biko no waka pass.God Bless us all.

For mamas searching for their period: if you're sure you're not pregnant, try drinking zobo boiled with pineapple peels, NO sugar/artificial sweetners/ satchet stuff. Instead mix the already prepared zobo with enough honey and blended pineapple (the flesh and core). I drank it at night and my period came the next morning. If you try that and it doesn't work, do some serious jigi-jigi(sex). It triggers period for me.

Zobo, pineapple and honey are said to cause miscarriage in pregnant women, so it makes sense that it can cause you to have a period. So I try not to take the stuff in my 2-week wait.

He asked me to come for HCG shot this evening(CD8) but with what I read here I need tvs before the shot. Please do I go for the tvs and on which day or take the shot today.

Dadsonval I admire your faith. Yes there are cases where it wont show on hpts or blood tests. Have you done scan? Our babies should show on scan by now, dear. And to avoid stories that touch pls, do scan. God be with you. May He perfect it.

I think you should do the Tvs first to know if the follicles are mature enough To be ruptured. Your cycle length matters also, it's not all of us that ovulate between cd8-10. I for one ovulate btw cd16-19. So imagine if I got hcg shots on cd 8, na waste of money, time and hope e for b.

Yes it is. It's often used for people doing ivf. I think it helps in follicle maturation and implantation.

I took your advice concerning my issue which was etopic pregnancy/ surgery last year, where the doctor said my other tube was slightly blocked. I went for another checkup yesterday and got the doctors report ( not Gods report so I am hopeful) The doctor said there's ovarian cyst on both ovaries measuring 4.6 and5.5cm respectively.
My mummies, where do I go from here? I don't want another surgery which was the doctors suggestion. Abeg make una put mouth for my matter. Is there any other way out?

what treatment option did he giv to you? Did u stimulate ur ovaries with ovulation drugs in d last cycle?

Eliminate artificial sugars n carbs.
Take lemon in warm water morning n night.

der was a post on shrinking cyst with black pepper, tumeric n ginger or with alligator pepper.

So depending on the approch your doctor is taking. The home remedies can b an adjunct.

pls mamas in the house , can someone explain to me what da heck is a retroflexive uterus oooo!!! there is nothing i won't hear unto ttc matter . so i went to do HSG yesterday and my xtray is showing a uterus that is upside down ( which explains why 2 cycles if ivf didn't work , which also explains why doctors were poking the hell out of the poor uterus telling me that their father's cervix was tight and had cervical stenosis) compared to the last msg i did in 2014 ...
i got my result today and they are telling me bilateral blockage even when i can see dye pouring out from one tube ... the only thing i find odd is the summersaulting uterus ( i found this out by comparing my result with similar ones online)
i have even decided not to consult doctors again , most of them don't even know jack...just to collect money

... so my question is ... could this be the reason for bfns over the years .2. perhaps sperm hasn't been traveling well ? 3. anyone know how a retroverted uterus can be corrected ? does anyone know the cause of retroflexed uterus cos i know i wasn't born like that . I'm so tired ...

This is what baby fever causes

There is nothing wrong with retroverted uterus. U can conceive with that. My result changed from retroverted to anteverted uterus and I was told womb position can change at intervals.

I will advise you get a second opinion on the bilateral tubal blockage since you are not convinced on this result. U can follow other mamas remedy here which include the Chinese teas(yimu cao) , seraptase enzyme,castor oil massage , clean point tampoon etc. It has been discussed severally on the thread.
