It is over. Now tribalism has entered the military.

I do not think I will be here till 2019. Call me a coward, but Buhari has destroyed the country before his death.

Look for Ahmed Isah in Abuja
ragiluhivo:
An ex-Private in the Nigerian military has alleged that he was dismissed from the military for protecting Biafra supporters from being attacked by Hausas during their meetings at Abraka in Asaba.

Other Nigerians are gullible but the Bifran drunken and blinded Igbo is super gullible. How can any normal person just believe the lies been told by a desperado? He is just using the Ipob/Biafra madness to milk the igbos for all they are worth. Let it be known that I said it here. Some other guy will copy this style and come along to extort money from igbos and they will catch him and then jungle justice will be brought upon him and the political undertone of it will bring crisis between the crooks tribe and the igbos. How can a dismissed soldier not know how to move from the east to Ochadamu which funny enough is a transit town in kogi where every vehicle passes? Just speak igala at the motor park and igala drivers will carry you free with goods they came to buy in the east. He can join a Dangote truck free going to Obajana in Kogi. As students we have gone round the country on free rides from popular junctions. That guy is just using the Igbo Man's head.

If as a military officer you don't know that you have to follow order from above, then you deserved to be dismissed. Protecting Biafra supporters (who are gathering illegally) is like protecting Boko haram supporters, and that is conflict of interest to your duty as army officer of Nigeria fool.

Modified: I can see many idiots quoting and insulting me, I don't have the time to reply you all one by one which is the reason I'm elaborating on my post.

As a Nigerian soldier, if after pledging allegiance to protect and serve the federal republic of Nigeria, and you are dumb enough to protect individuals that claim to be citizens of illegal sovereign state like Biafra, then you deserved to be outrightly dismissed. This stupid soldier complaining that he was dismissed for protecting illegal entities like Biafrans is like a US soldier complaining that he got dismissed by US army for protecting illegal immigrants in US. It is a conflict of interest fool. However, if he protects the citizens of Abia, Anambra, Imo or any other state in Nigeria that are peacefully protesting for actualization of Biafra then he deserves not to be dismissed.

Now to the issue of if IPOB members are members of illegal organization or not. If members of an organization peacefully protest for actualization, emancipation, realization of any sovereign state they believe is for their good interest, then such organization is not illegal unless they take up arms against Nigeria Military force. This explain the reason why organization like Massob (Movement for actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra) and Mend (Movement for emancipation of Niger Delta) cannot be classified as illegal because they are movements for an interest. For Ipob (Indigenous People of Biafra) since the name of the organization didn't state if they are movement, what will be looked at is their agenda. If their agenda is to peaceful demonstrate for the secession of a region of Nigeria then they are legal. However, if their agenda is to take arms against federal republic of Nigeria, then the organization and as well as its members are illegal.
These are some of the issues that would have been trashed out by Justice Nyako before he released Nnamdi Cownu on bail. I'm 100% sure that Cownu and his lawyers would have firstly pledge that he is a Nigerian and secondly vow that his organization is not a guerrilla organization before he was released on bail. Otherwise, he would have been sentenced to death for treason.

The guy said the Hausa men shot his fellow soldier (Chukwuemeka) and a pregnant woman dead, that is why they had to return fire, after everything, 5 Hausa men were dead, and the captain that sent them to see what was happening denied doing so, they (him and two other soldiers) were dismissed by their commander Akpan.

Now the guy said he does not want to report to 82 Division Enugu, that he may be recalled, but they will likely set him to die. He doesn't even want to do the army job again.

This country sef...

He was right about Abraka in Asaba, see.

http://www.channelstv.com/2017/04/06/nafdac-raids-abraka-market-in-asaba/
As portrayed in the mission statement of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) to safeguard public health by ensuring that only the right quality of food, drugs and other regulated products are manufactured and consumed, the agency inspected a liqour factory and raided the popular Abraka market in Asaba, the Delta state capital.

As a soldier of federal republic of Nigeria you shouldn't have taken side. As a matter of fact you can't be dismissed for that reason, may be you're yet to say the truth.

For the information of those not in the know, especially the #Abokis & my Yoruba peeps, there is a market place situated opposite the Nigeria Police "B" Division in Asaba.
It's along Onitsha-Benin Expressway.
This market is called ABRAKA MARKET.
I used to travel to Onitsha a lot, passing through Asaba.

Private is a rank in the Nigerian Army. It's the first rank of a non-commissioned officer after your recruitment exercise

It's obvious the guy doesn't know the terrain well, but Asaba is the nearest city he can link to Abraka.
After the toll gate as you head into Asaba proper, there is a convergence of Hausas just by the B' Division police barack to your left who migrated from Onitsha after one of the numerous clashes at the former headbridge market Onitsha. These Hausa's formed a cluster there which has metamorphosed into a market dominated by Hausas. That market is called Abraka market.

How it got the name Abraka. There is till date an Oando petrol station (Now a shadow of its former self as it was the most prominent and finest petrol station there back in the days) formally National Oil sandwiched between the first exit that leads into Asaba and the main federal Dual carriageway. This petrol station is owned by a late strong, influencial and wealthy Igbo man from Imo state who once dominated the area. He was one time "Eze Ndi Igbo" in Asaba. He was nicknamed Abraka, very influential and feared by all. How he got the nickname is one I have no knowledge of. In those days, the whole of that area is referred to as Abraka petrol station and over time petrol station was dropped and it was just left with Abraka.

This is how the Hausa market got its name. This one is different from the host town of Delsu main campus.

Its more of a landmark that morphed into a name. The police station across the petrol station is sometimes referred to as Abraka police station.

Make everybody kwanu thank & clap for me for this exposé.

He is liar. I knew he was lying when he said he returned fire and 5 people were down...then his CO denied him...he was dismissed...just like that ??but can't return to 82 Div cos his life was in danger but he could make videos spewing rubbish?

If the NA didn't catch him first and desk with him first, I think he'll run into problem because he is greedy and stupid.
,
The deny and dismissal as he said is 100% possible, according to him then he said that the man who dismiss them said that they (Hausa-Fulani) is the owner and controller of Nigeria so that those who was killed shouldn't be.
Re: Soldier From Kogi Dismissed For Protecting Biafrans (Video) by Nobody: 7:41am On Jun 17, 2017
People misquoted this soldier and he allowed himself lead away from his story.

Here is the breakdown.

1. They left the barracks and went to town for reason best know to them.

2. They heard a crisis was brewing at Abraka and the superior officer among them detailed them to go find out.

3. In an attempt to quell the raging crisis, his partner was shot.

4. They activated the "rules of engagement" and in the process 5 Hausa attackers lost their life.

The mission was unofficial. This can only be the reason they were fired. Not because he was protecting Biafrans. People should stop whipping up sentiments here are there and taking us closer to breakdown of law and order.

They put words in his mouth when he admitted to helping Biafrans but he fixed it towards the end of the video.

the young man here was a young soldier, if not no experience soldier will be sent for such a mission without signal to back it up, and even then the instructions will be given to you on what to do and when you go against it there is no two ways about it you will definitely be dismissed. He said that the captain sent them to go and see what is happening there but believe it or not there are no such orders in the military, the Army has intelligent officers who's duty is just to gather the information and if it is true that there is something illegal then army can not I repeat can not send only three soldiers on such a mission. the young man only said something that will attract pity on him and I believe he is the useless type so to say because if a soldier who is earning salary can not save only two thousand naira to enable him transport himself to his village after his dismissal then I think even if he is being given another job he will still not save.
