No, Dreamweaver is not a must. However, if you want to do professional code editing works for your website, then you need an IDE like dreamweaver, netbeans, visual studio, phpedit, eclipse etc.

Notepad ++ is what you should using as a beginner. Trust me you don't want to start leaning web design with a (What you see is what you get) WYSIWYG platform. You should know the fundamental codes before you jump into that.

Dreamweaver is not compulsory just use any IDE that makes you feel comfortable coding buh i'll advice u go for notepad++

Dreamweaver is not a must. As a matter of fact, I have been developing websites for over 3 years, I've never used Dreamweaver.

I do pure coding with Bracket. Dreamweaver kinda makes one lazy, in my opinion.

It's possible, most android phones allow that, you nees apps like es file explorer to be able to creat .html, css, and .js files. And then maybe firefox for offline viewing.

Kudos to you holuwajobar , I'm glad to meet someone else who is willing to learn programming despite the inasccesibility to personal computers. It's frusrating coding with phones. I know that, I do it. I don't have a pc myself.

I would say, you need to learn it with notepad first, then later you use dreamweaver, so that you will understand where things go wrong in your code when using dreamweaver.

I hope you get a pc soon. I'm dying to get one myself.

Absolutely unnecessary. DreamWeaver is a relic of the table layout age and the world is a better place without it.

Use open source IDE's like Brackets, Visual Studio Code, Atom to attain fine grained organic control over your markup.

you don't need DW for now, just start with notepad++ that's what I'm recommending for you.

and try get a PC even though a fairly used mini. scripting with phone will only frustrate you and make you lose interest.
