To avoid the imminent collapse of Nigeria, the FGN must as a matter of urgency and necessity do the following:

1. begin the implementation of resource control policy. Every state must control their resources and pay tax to the center.

2. Nigeria should be broken down into 6 regions. Every region has the power to create as many states as it can cater for.

3. Rotational presidency must be enshrined in the constitution. The rotation must be among the six regions. Within the regions, an arrangement could be made to ensure each ethic group takes turn to produce the president.

4. Process of secession must be clearly enshrined in the constitution.

5. State police must be enshrined in the constitution.

6. All the federal offices must be shared equally among the regions.

The above are the issues that can get Nigeria out of the present state.

The APC Government of Buhari will never implement any of these things, and even if they wanted to, the North will use its numerical strenght to block any these points being passed in the National Assembly

Restrcturing is dead in Nigeria...................unless huge deposits of Oil and Gas are found in the North
