For the residents and commuters along sawmill-loyola college axis, the popular bridge around there has been flooded as usual. This has obstructed several daily routines and businesses as students and workers are afraid to walk 'on these waters'.

They have blocked all the drainages with faeces in nylon bags.
Toilets are rare down there.

That is not an ordinary flood.

Oduduwa, Orunmila, Sango and Ogun are weeping their hearts out...

Because of the incessant skull-mining and other sundry crimes in their land.

There are some flood that go contrary to Drainage system.

Louisiana, USA experienced one of the worst flood some time ago

No proper drainage system, house construction on water ways. Excessive waste dump, dead state.

OMG! hmmmm. All these thanks to no drainage and dirts

The elevation profile of that area shows it is 0 metres above sea level which means it is susceptible to flooding. If Nigeria were to be a good country housing and road network in that area would have been done with topmost professionalism.

Residents too should desist from blocking the little drainage they are provided with, with wastes as we all know that if the Governor's uncle is not living in the area, nothing will be done.

Government at least, please fall our hand by doing something

our leader are mentally lazy... this is a yearly occurrence in almost every state in Nigeria...no serious step is ever taken

In some situation, there is little or almost nothing drainage system can do but all the same, some areas in Ibadan like old Ife road where this erosion occurred need good drainage system
