That the Igbos are Mischievously Rebellious was our Founding and Forefather's(Lord Lugard's) Legacy. And it is true. The Igbos are wierd and bizarre Entreprenuers. They do what no tribe has ever conceived. Examples, Evans, the Billionaire Kidnapper and the wife and other Igbos asking for forgiveness. Diezani's loots, Nnamdi Kanu's Rebellion etcetra. How do you reconcile these without a strong law enforcement? |

smellingmenses:Bro stop ranting, Op put a simple question there you didn't invest in Igbo what that's south east what stops your from investing in South South? where else in the entire universe does yoruba man has investors in landed property? No where because you guys are not investors to even say that Igbos don't sell properties to other tribe.. you simply don't have the money |

...A good point from the OP. These people are born to conjure lies and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it but to keep exposing their pathological lies on daily basis. Even immediately after the Nigerian independence with the relative peace and brotherliness existing then, how many northerners and westerners invest in other parts of the country? None!. But the igbos and their neighbors were busy investing in other parts of the country. As I used to say always all those lies where borne out of ENVY, and JEALOUS due to the Igbo's business, entrepreneurial, financial, and intellectual prosperity. As it is in business investments so it is in other areas too. How many northerners and westerners cherish and wear other tribes attire the way we igbos do? How many northerners and westerners live in other parts of the country against all odds the way igbos do? How many of them carried "one Nigeria"like gala on their head the way the igbos do after so much human, and material sacrifices the have made since the birth of this nation? Practically none!!!!!! The appointed time has come.... |

Amberon11:They are deluded. One of them just said yorubas dont own any property in the north, and that most of the businesses are owned by igbos. Funny enough, i have families that own buildings in the north. The truth is that yorubas dont have interest in igboland. The country will soon split so what is the essence of this thread? |
| Re: Baseless Lies About Property In Igboland by Nonaira1: 8:01am On Jun 21, 2017 |
GavelSlam:I lived in the state so I know my own experience in that state. The entire time I lived there, all the yoruba I know and met, not ONE owned a property despite living in that state. Heck even in the city I'm from, Asaba, there are too many, way too many of you if you ask me in our city and despite such high percentage of una living there, the amount of yoruba with properties is ridiculously small. When I say small, I mean microscopic small. Heck look at this thread for example, majority of your people replying the questions are either making claims of "I know many people blah blah" kinda like what you did. One posted an image of a hotel in Abuja which completely eluding what the Op asked and another posted street images with yoruba names as prove of "yoruba properties in abuja" once again competently eluding what the OP asked. Pretty much avoiding to answer the OP questions It's not what "I believe", it's what I saw with my own two eyes. |

EmekaMD:Igbos and lies are like 5&6. I don't know why they alway lump SE with SS. I a yoruba man and I have a property in warri, agbahro to be precise. A friend has in port Harcourt along nta road. These are few among my other friends and colleagues. Igbos don't sell properties to even an akwa ibom or ikwerri person not to talk of Yoruba or Hausa. Go find out |

Yoruba owns the 1st and 2nd largest rice farm in the country and the land is in north Nigerians consume more than 5 million metric tons of rice every year, with a significant portion of its consumption needs sourced from imports. Rotimi Williams, an ambitious 35 year-old Nigerian entrepreneur and rice farmer, is on a quest to change that. Williams, a former journalist, is the owner of Kereksuk Rice Farm, the second largest commercial rice farm in Nigeria by land size. His farm, which is situated in Nasarawa state in northern Nigeria, currently sits on 45,000 hectares and employs more than 600 natives of Nasarawa.
