A suspected member of the dreaded Badoo terror gang got nabbed in Ikorodu this morning.

According to a report by Seidu Shakiru, the culprit was trying to gain access to a house at Felefon Street in Ayegbami Community, Igbogbo - with a big stone in his hand - when a resident of the community raised an alarm shouting "Badoo."

The suspect quickly hid the stone inside a big bowl he found nearby and placed it upon his head with the pretence of going to fetch water.

His trick, however, failed as residents trooped out and chased him till he got caught at Akindana Street, Ayegbami in Igbogbo.

The suspect was handed over to the police to avoid jungle justice.

Word on the street in ikorodu is that this gang are working for some old notable men in ikorodu town and they use them to get materials for ritual purposes. Even a baale of a community has been accused alongside two major petrol station owners in ikorodu alongside one popular man that has a bubbling road side bar in ikorodu. All these are word on the street and it is said that some of the policemen in ikorodu know the patrons of these bado gang but can't arrest them cos the police has been paid of.

Lol...Extremely hilarious if i can express myself in this terms in response to your post. At times, i feel Lekki/V.I./Ikoyi/Ajah alone is Lagos...

This Badoo gang no dey finish?

Abba Kyari the Nigerian Jack Bauer need to relocate to Ikorodu as soon as possible, this badoo atrocities is becoming unbecoming. I was in Ikorodu some weeks back with a client and some technicians i used for machine installation, as we were approaching the factory where inspection was to take place, i noticed residents gazing at us and a guy was even joking that badoo members could not have dressed corporate like we did except they have changed their strategy.

Please the IGP should activate the Intelligence Response Team as swiftly as it could be, the badoo is a social menace that must be nipped in the bud before it becomes an issue that will cause more havoc than imagined.
