Anambra is the Head quarters of erosion itself.

Where in Lokoja is this? Looks like ganaja or gadumo area. Or one of the estates with a river passing through.

Erosion is taking over houses & lands and Bello is busy spending Billions to dethrone Malaye...

Nigerian are very funny, small erosion will start they will sit and be lamenting till it turns to something else then they will start calling FG for help.

Na Gwamnati neglect o. There's no government presence whatsoever in Felele.
Dude had a booty call and he decided to defy the heavy downpour to pay the chic a visit. On getting to the stream, he got stuck. And since it was late in the night, there was nobody to assist him get the vehicle out. He had to lock the car up there and proceeded to quench the pent up konji. Only for him to come back in the morning to meet the car in the canal. He was lucky that a palm tree blocked the car. If not, maybe he would have gone to search for the car in the River Niger.
Another drama played out when the crane truck came to haul the car out. The truck got stuck too and wouldn't start. A Tipper was used to tow it too, hours after the car had been pulled out. End of story.

I would have sworn erosion only happened in the south east

There are man things you and your neighbours could have done much earlier to help mitigate the situation such as trenching to divert and control runoff and the re-vegetation of that area with trees and shrubs to hold the soil and buy valuable time. Gmelina is a very good specie of tree which can grow in almost all climates and soil types and is a very invasive specie and aggressive reproducer with vas penetrative root systems. Just one tree and in three years you have a small forest. Not everything is government, government. A little environmental education and effort can help.

The Southeast has far greater erosion challenge in virtually all States than this Lokoja alarm. The indigenes of Lokoja should just fill this up.

What is the governor using the ecological funds sent to him by the federal government to do, all they are just concern is to enrich themselves and not there for the masses.
