I mentioned industry, I did not mention firm.

What do you know about pressure gradient or MAASP or well control?

Better you stick to beer parlour topics that you can meander your way about. Flee from technically involved topics.

The major ethnic groups of the Delta State are the Itsekiris, Isokos and Urhobos.

These states are very important for our country, so everyobe should know them.

OP you do well o! Anioma people are minority even in our own delta abi? This is why we want Anioma state o! grin grin

Based on what you said, all states are important to Nigeria o but our problem is that we only focus on oil, oil, oil and you are making same mistake again. Crude Oil sef don loose value finish and that's why we are in recession, so what is there to glory about that we have oil?

Let's even look at some of what hausas have in the north because they have more minerals than most of us think but blacks will be blacks that doesn't know the value of what they have.

If only hausa people have eyes to see and sense, the sky is through their limit with what they have.

1. Gold (which is more valuable than crude oil now) 2. Uranium which is for make explosives and even nuclear energy. 3. Tantalum for manufacturig electronics. Life does not stop at crude oil.

Gold deposits are found in Northern Nigeria, most prominently near Maru, Anka, Malele, Tsohon Birnin Gwari-Kwaga, Gurmana, Bin Yauri, Okolom-Dogondaji, and Iperindo in Osun state it is not very dominant in the country.

Columbite and Tantalite are ores used to produce the elements niobium and tantalum. Columbite and tantalite are collectively known as coltan in Africa. Tantalum is a valuable rare element used in electronics manufacturing.

In Nigeria, pegmatite deposits of coltan are frequently also the source of several precious and semi-precious stones such as beryl, aquamarine, and tourmaline. These pegmatites are found in Nassarawa State near the Jos Plateau, as well as in several areas in southeast Nigeria. There is small-scale mining of these minerals. Wolframite (tungsten) can be found in the North states.

Recently, several important uranium deposits were discovered in Cross River State, Adamawa State, Taraba State, Plateau State, Bauchi State, and Kano State by the British Geological Survey.

Imagine having a rare element used for making Electronics! Source of technology but we don't know the value.

Today, Japan uses nuclear energy to generate power across their country, we still dey use dams, dey wait make rain fall for dam to work well, yet we have plenty uranium.

If hausas are not stupid, they should be the richest by now because they have all manner of precious stones (gold, silver and diamond) and above all very valuable and rare elements such as uranium and tantalum.

If the rotten headed OP is pretty sure of his claim, he may visit the part of Ondo state where he could be buried with the right amount of oil he so wishes. Untill then, keep running mad.

chief, why do you sound angry? I am neither an ijaw or itsekiri lady.
We learn everyday, you have made your point and I have heard you.
I know that there are ijaws and itsekiri communities in ondo, whose community the oil are located in is the issue here.
You don't have to be an Ijaw or Itsekiri to be bias or be an antagonist on this matter, you just need to have some resentment for Yorubas. In fact, the bolded takes away from your credibility.

Oya, make we hear the names of the Ijaw and itsekiri communities in Ondo where the oil is found. I want a full blown list, of course since you know the area so well.

grin madam sorry if I sound angry.. but just wanted to address some issues and how most people attribute everything to ijaw, even the ijaw man won't claim what he don't own.

the LITTLE OIL in ondo is in Ilaje communities, you can search for oil Exploration in ilaje and see things yourself.

Ondo is the 5th largest producer of oi in Nigeria. That "little oil" as you put it, in just that one Ilaje lga is more than what the entire SE produces.

Na so?..Because last I heard, most of Ondo's oil are offshore and only the Ilajes have open access to the sea in Ondo state. What Ijaw settlements in Ondo state have direct view of the sea and I'm not talking about riverine areas? I'm curious to know.

Read this entire thread and NOT ONE person proved the OP wrong other than making claims. Hilarious enough, as usual the yoruba bind together to applaud each other stupidity display and pat each other in the back screaming "Savage". How hilarious. What a joke!!

OP the reason the article did not include Ondo in it's list isn't because it's not an Oil producing state but rather the production is minor. Completely irrelevant as well as inconsistent. There was a reason why the image released by NNPC in regards to oil production, ondo state was the last listed which got them mocked continuously on this forum. Which like the typical propagandist shallow imbeciles they are they went and created an "oilrevenue" site on claims that it meant "to make the oil production of the nation transparent". The site created graphs with ZERO reference and they brought it here which ceased their mockery. Funny the same site meant for "transparency" has not been updated since it was created hilariously enough a year after they were being mocked like crazy on this forum and other social media platform. I guess the oil production in Nigeria stopped that year. Personally, Ondo so called 'oil' is equivalent to their lagos 'oil' we keep hearing about almost every year since 2012 yet nothing is being shown of it.

You and that article is not far from the truth at all.

Heck sooner or later, they won't even have any oil to claim in that ondo state. Delta state is still in court for the oil lands they stole from our state. In 2008, delta won back 260 oil wells they stole. Soon, even the ones that makes them those inconsequential and inconsistent oil is going to be won back anyway. The greediness of their obasanjo brother would be corrected. So hey, allow them to bask in their delusions a while longer. Stop trying to destroy their dream for them

Ibo's agenda to rob Yoruba of wealth and profit has been around before you were born. Those who started ended in eternal disgrace. Midwest was carved out to break West because yanminri thought without gains the progress and growth of Yoruba will dwindle and they will be forced to bow to others in the political arena. In less than ten years after the divestiture Midwest rose in opposition to Biafra.

Yoruba's progress has leapt instead of dwindle. Those who have oil wealth in abundance and profit from its production are far behind Yorubaland. Perharps if they had not left West they would be partners in the growth and progress on record by the Oodua States.

Yorubaland truly does not need oil profit to be great. We were great before oil, our greatness did not stop during oil glut, our advancement continues even when ownership of oil has turned out to be a curse. If you want give every oil field in Ondo to Ijaw, how does it improve their lives and well being? Its not who owns the oil that matters, but the strategy to use the oil as a political tool to better yourself and improve your worth. If oil ownership translates to greatness, Bayelsa should be the fore leading land in West Africa, but where is Bayelsa on account of itself.

If Yoruba owned the oil in Bayelsa we would have reproduced several Dubais in several cities of coastal Nigeria. Maybe Bayelsa need to consult with Yoruba on how to be great, instead of planting terrorists in its guest house in Ajegunle.
