According to my friend, his father said for 37 years and until date, he has never told his loving wife (my friend's mum) how much he earns as salary... and here you are, singing to your wife about how you much you earn or even when you get a small raise in your salary...do you want to die young? His father asked...

Person advice him pickin based on his experience you dey para, born your own and give am your advice.

Whatever his father said is irrelevant, and this dude should decide how he wants to live his life and raise his family. Just because our parents may have been wrong all their lives, shouldn't mean we should also be inadequate.

You might call it stupid, but it worked for him and he was able to have a child I guess was properly trained.
Your spouse not knowing how much doesn't make you stupid as long as you meet up to your responsibilities.
IF I may ask do you tell your spouse how much you earn I.e evey kobo that comes in ( that's if you are married sha).
You manage your situation the way you see it.

His father was born in the 50's when our mothers were housewives accepting anything that comes through their husbands, we are in the 21st century he should remind him that some wives now are the bread winners synchronising with their husbands to make things work out in the family financially and otherwise...so he shouldn't feel bad about the abuse
