platinumphotos:Yet God infringed on Paul's free will and made him an Apostle by FORCE, he infringes on the free will of the enemies of you Christians by saving you from their evil machinations - or isn't that why you thank him for answering your prayers for protection? He infringed on Judas' free will and made him a betrayal in order to fulfill HIS OWN prophecy. And he now considers it taboo to interfere with the free will of the heartless, cruel and malevolent? Why is your God so inconsistent, so protean, so unreliable? Why is he such an incredible mass of breathtaking CONTRADICTIONS? A being with inherent contradictions in its nature is a PARADOX. And such a being CANNEVER exist, except as a figment of the imagination! |

One thing I know is, even if you see glaring evidence staring at u, you will defend whatever you were brought up to believe for almost 30 years against the glaring truth. if you are xtian, muslim Buddhist etc. I want u to knw u RE all suffering from the same thing (brainwash). The three major reason why some change their religion is 1) if they hav poor foundation in their previous religion( they are easily manipulated) 2) if they seek/got solution to their predicament from another religion. 3) marriage(common among ladies). Aside this, it is difficult to change ur believe instead would rather be atheist or just be in the religion bt as non practicing. |

An2elect2:Everything is predestined and happens according to God's will? There is no freewill, right? In which case no one can be held accountable for their actions since they're a mere robot acting a script? Calvinism is a ridiculously and astonishingly BOLDY evil ideology. Tah! |

Zandha:Hahhaha Pride. It's very human to hate the truth. Hate us for all we care. We love the truth and cannot be saved through any other way. Deal with it! |

An2elect2:I will certainly be in strong opposition to the teaching of this kind of terrible "truth" and incredibly harmful ideology to young and innocent minds wherever I find it happening. It's inhumane, evil, nonsensical, and UNACCEPTABLE. Dang! Now, deal with that. And kiss that fact with some skill. I heard Calvinists are very good at bad romance. ![]() |

luvmijeje:Thank you for replying. A question I have for you now is, what evidence do you have that those two people were sent by the creator of the universe? What evidence do you have that Moses was 'sent' by the one who formed existence billions of years ago, and what evidence do you have that Jesus is his son? Remember, if the bible is your only source of proof, then your belief is akin to other religions, in the sense that they also have their holy books, compiled by humans who claim to be divinely inspired. From their holy books they were also able to draw out figures who they believe were sent by the creator of the universe. |

platinumphotos:Hi, sorry I couldn't get back to you on time yesterday. Now, remember you said: Every conscious effort to stop the fulfillment of such prophecies is only an indirect effort to aid it's fulfillment. Remember Joseph? Every effort of the brothers and others are only the required efforts to fulfill the prophecy. In other words, no matter what happens, no matter how they are preached to, they must follow the path as seen by God in his plan. According to the bible remember, God has a plan for everything in the universe. Have you heard of the butterfly effect? Basically it explains how the tiniest actions can lead to extreme consequences. For example, me sneezing now could indirectly lead to World War 3 through a chain of connected events. Now, if God has a plan for the universe, and has seen the flow of events leading up to the final execution of his plan, it means people who commit crimes are integral to his plan, right? And remember, God's plan MUST be fulfilled, and he is omniscient- he can never be wrong. You then say that all conscious efforts a future criminal makes to steer his life on the right path are actually still leading up to him committing that crime. Is free will not an illusion? Is his 'choice' not an illusion? It's like putting someone in a maze with only one exit. No matter which detours he takes he will still pass through that opening. What choice does he then have? Can he be blamed for passing through that opening when that is the only opening available? |

AnonyNymous:Beautiful question. Someone else has asked this question. And my answer simply is because I've had an encounter with Christ. Sir, I can't logically prove it because it's beyond human reasoning. It's beyond the reasoning of the natural man. |
| Re: Why Does God Leave Things To Human Error? by Nobody: 10:29am On Jun 29, 2017 |
luvmijeje:Thank you for answering honestly. This same question kept me up at night long before. But what I then asked further is, 'Are all the people who claim to have had an encounter with Allah, or Zoroaster, or Sango, deluded? How am I sure they aren't the ones seeing the right thing and I am the deluded one? Isn't God watching all this happen? Why doesn't he make it all clear to everyone? I'm pretty sure if a lot of Muslims found out directly from God that Christianity was 'right' they'd convert immediately. And vice versa. This led me to 'tasting' so many religions but still not finding my answers. And here I am today. But then again, I also believe its very important not to use 'lack of religion' as an excuse to be immoral- morality is subjective so when I say 'immoral' I mean the generally accepted things which are considered bad- stealing, cheating, lying, murder, etc. I hope we all find what we're looking for. Thanks for discussing with me. |

AnonyNymous:Wow! I've once being your shoe but I only limited myself to 2 religions . Growing up I've followed a friend to a mosque to pray. I've gone to different churches but I knew something was still missing till I discovered it. The only thing I'll advise you is to ask God to reveal himself to you if He is real. It's a short prayer. |

AnonyNymous:Free will is not an illusion... God's plan happens for special purposes only. E.g Joseph, Moses, Pharaoh, and maybe someone like Obasanjo. It's not every Tom, dick and Harry that lives out a define plan.. |

luvmijeje:With all due respect ma, how was man suppose to know eating the fruit would be bad when he had no knowledge of good and evil before then? |
| Re: Why Does God Leave Things To Human Error? by analice107: 5:28pm On Jun 29, 2017 |
AnonyNymous:He didn't. Man declared independence from God, so God let him have his way. Just imagine you right now, see your dispossession towards God. |

Willzz:Beautiful question with a direct answer. God told them. It was a test. It was a simple instruction. I have gotten another revelation. Thanks for asking me this question . Do you know eating of tree of the knowledge of good and evil is not the sin they committed. It was because they simply didn't hearken to the voice of God. What do I mean? Gen 3:23 says And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever Emphasis on the man has become as one of us. But that was God's purpose from the beginning. He created man in His own image. This show the tree of the knowledge of good and evil wasn't the sin. The sin was them failing the test. The sin was the sin of disobedience. I don't know if I'm making sense? |
| Re: Why Does God Leave Things To Human Error? by Willzz(m): 6:24pm On Jun 29, 2017 |
luvmijeje:Ma, from your reply above concerning God sending man away because he has become of them simply means God never created man to be awaken to the God-conciousness but to be ignorant of his true nature which is the God life. Perhaps, that is why some christain sects believe the serpent came to set man free from yahweh |

Willzz:You missed the other part of the quote which is : lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever But before this Adam has been eating of this tree of life. Adam has been awaken to the God-conciousness before His disobedience . God didn't sent Adam out of Eden because they have eaten of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. But they were sent out because He didn't want them to eat of the tree of life again which they were eating before. Gen 2:16 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: Including the tree of life. They were eating already from the tree of life. They were already God like. Their disobedience made them lose their right. |

luvmijeje:Ma, if man had the God-consciousness before the fall, he wouldn't have eating from the tree of knowledge because been God-conscious comes with the knowledge to tell good from bad. I also disagree with you ma about man eating from the tree of life before his supposed fall because a single taste would have made him immortal which was wat the gods never wanted. Anyways, I really appreciate you for taking out some minutes out of your busy schedule to reply to my posts, I have learnt a few things, I'm grateful |

Willzz:I'll appreciate you quoting Biblical verses to back your claim. But to let you know that when Adam ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil he lost God-conciousness . Gen 2:17 says But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Death was the judgement of their disobedience. If they were not already exhibiting God-conciousness, He wouldn't have given them the options. He wouldn't have tested them. Eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil doesn't mean man will not know the difference between good and evil. It only means man forfeit his right to eat the tree of life and thereby live forever. |

luvmijeje:I believe every man has within him the life force of God but its all about been conscious of such life. You know, you are the first christain I have met on nairaland who did not use insults to drive home her points. We all are entitle to our different opinions, there will be no need to keep running this rat race. Enjoy your night My Lady |
