Very commendable of him. I wonder what kind of a system we operate in Nigeria that the police will be more interested in taking photographs with a suspect than doing their actual job. At least it's obvious why why have so many unresolved cases in Nigeria. The police is not serious!

Ese Oruru was taken away by one Yunusa Dahiru from her home in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State to Kano in August 2015 while she was still 13 years old and without the knowledge of her parents. While in Kano she was forced into marriage, converted to Islam and her name changed to Aisha.For months, efforts by the young girl’s parents to get their child back from Yunusa and the Kanohe District head of Kura, Sharia Hisbah Commission proved abortive, no action was taken until media attention was drawn to it. Ese held at the Palace of the Emir of Kano was discovered to be 5 months Pregnant after eight months captitity.

As long as you "gullible" keep buying into the religion aspect of motives behind these crimes, the culprits will keep eloping Scot free.

These are kidnappers, abductors who steal people (female), force them into solitude and servitude, turning them into intimacy gadgets for their own sexual gratification.

This has nothing to do with the religion of Islam (or even Christianity). As soon as the gullible masses buy into the illusion of religious tenents and sanctions, a leeway for exoneration is created.

Kidnapping and abduction is illegal, whether the victims are designated for RITUAL KILLING in the west by our famous "Skull miners" or they are queued for BLOOD MONEY in the East by our "Igbo developers" or they are simple destination-bound for North to serve as concubines-in-wait at some Sheik/Emir's palace... IT IS STILL ILLEGAL AND PUNISHABLE BY LAW.

Imagine this scenario:

A child steals some fruits, he gets caught and the next thing you (presumptuously yet erroneously) asked him if he was hungry to have stolen. YOU SIMPLY GAVE THE CHILD A PERFECT EXCUSE EVEN BEFORE HE COULD THINK OF ONE. Now the burden of proving his motives are false or unacceptable lies with you.

When a crime is committed, The Law should immediately take its due course.

But when you say: Oh, it's their religion that encourages it or it's their God or Prophet that set such example, then you have created a leeway for exoneration. And the impossible burden of using a pre established constitution to counter the legality of such action (like kidnapping/abduction) now falls on the populace, hence culprits walk free.

Lesson:
Forget any presumed motives or incentives behind a crime. Just swing and bring down the full mighty hand of The Law on the culprits.

By the way is the guy (lawyer/counsel) representing EVANS a Northerner and a Muslim

that's the most annoying part of it, they are busy telling other upcoming criminals how to become smarter and I'm sure a lot of kidnappers have upgraded as a result of Evans revelation. I dnt even understand the NPF at all. smh

This Is my judgemen;all your properties here in nigeria and abroad will be sold to re pay all your victims you kidnapped,your mother,your wife and children will be jail for 10 yrs and a jungle justice will be meted on you after 6 months . I rest my case..
