This baby was reportedly given birth to with congenital defect(Gastroschisis) in the early hours of today. She was birthed in general hospital Geidam, Yobe state.

According to Facebook user Isa Aisami , "This is a baby girl born early hour of today 30/6/2017 with congenital defect(Gastroschisis) her large intestine exposed through umblicus in general hospital Geidam Yobe state now preparing to refer to the referral hospital" Pictures below:

there is a solution to every medical problem. This baby's case can not be different. It should be handled with care to avoid infections and complications. The parents will give thanks soon. So be it.

OP, ur statement is not completely true. This is rather Omphalocoele & not Gastroschisis if truly d intestine is passing thru d umbilicus (wc is suggestive buh not too glaring in d attached pix). Gastroschisis occurs beside d umbilicus, usually to d right, & has no covering membrane unlike in above pix.
