A member of the dreaded Badoo Cult group which has terrorized residents of Ikorodu area of Lagos, was apprehended yesterday June 30th in the area.

The man was lynched by Ikorodu residents, after he couldn't defend himself when asked few questions after found wandering around Obafemi Awolowo Road, before Government Technical College, Ikorodu with a Cutlass and a Bag full of waste.

According to eyewitnesses, he claimed he was a farmer, and that all his family members were dead. He would have however been beaten to death, but for the intervention of elders in the community who advised the youths to him him over to the police at the Igbogbo Police station where he is currently being interrogated.

Wicked people are so quick to judge others .

As much as I would love the most horrible punishment and possibly jungle justice to be meted to a confirmed badoo gang member, I can't shake off the feeling that innocent people would also be affected through mistaken identity or just plain bad luck.
The man in that picture doesn't look like a sane person to me and he definitely doesn't appear like someone that can lift grinding stone and attack family of four.
If only there is a sure way to apprehend them or catch them in the act, it would have been better.
