The state with largest number of rice farmers, anchor borrowers alone registers 78,000 of them, recently they produced 1,850,000 metric tonnes of rice. Wacot recently commissioned a 10 billion Naira rice mill in the state, Lagos has also partnered with them to produce Lake(lagos-kebbi) rice. There are pyramids of paddy rice bags in most local govts and thousandniare/millionaire rice farmers. Kebbi is doing well, more than many states in the headlines. |
