I MUST SAY THIS

What has happened to some of us the Igbos?
Why has hatred and insensitivity become our
lot? Why has this our agitation for Biafra made
some of us heartless and foolish? Why are we
now appearing worse than those we condemn?
Is this how we will live?
Anybody is free to seek for self actualization,
but must you do it hating everyone and being
insensitive to the plight of others? Once hate
grows in you, it never stops it gets to
everyone, from your so called enemy to even
your friends and family, so be careful how
much hate you breed in you.
These days, we don't wait for posts against
Biafra to show how much hate we are growing
in US against others, we even do that in posts
that have nothing to do with Biafra.
Please, brothers, as much as we believe that
self-determination is what we seek, we should
cut down on the hate we share these days, how
can some people be insensitive to the point of
thanking God for the misfortune of others?
Sahara Reporters posted about people (more
than 20) losing their lives to flood in Suleja,
and people are here asking God to use more
flood to destroy people? Are we now insane?
Has the Biafra agitation taken away people's
brains, are we no longer humans? If you don't
know, if you continue this way, you will be
worse than Boko Haram. I hear people call
themselves 'Umu Chineke' (Children of God), is
this how Children of God behave? I hear
people comparing the Biafra agitation to the
Children of Israel leaving Egypt, did the
Israelites hate the Egyptians this much? if we
continue with this hate, we will have no friends
anywhere and may end up hating ourselves too
because the hater must always find someone to
hate.
If as we are saying daily that we are calling for
referendum and not war, then, we should
show that in our attitudes. Our attitudes are
saying something different from what our
words and actions are saying.
You don't need hate speeches to make your
position known, people of God are people of
peace and love. Is 'Chukwu Okike Abiama' the
God of hate? I doubt that.
He who does not love does not know God
because God is love (1John 4:8 ) and if you love
just those who love you, what's the difference
between you and the ungodly? (Matthew
5:43-48).
If we really love the Biafra we are agitating
for, this is the time to breed the love that will
sustain that Biafra.
May God help our brothers and sisters who are
going through hard times right now because of
this flood.

Op... You are high on cow dung
Both you and the writer of this trash are ashamed of your tribe
That's why you lots are living in denial
Who is actually hating who in this country?

Is it the recent massacre of defenseless villagers of Nsukka people by Fulani herdsmen
Or the quit notice given to a whole tribe to vacate from a region they have invested a lot of resources in...
The lack of federal presence in the East is there for everybody to see
At the end Igbos are regarded as nothing but mere 5%

Who is really hating who in this contraption tagged a country ?

Stop educating those people, they won't learn. Imagine their leader Nnamdi kanu preaching hate, killings, calling some ethnicities unprintable names, incited his members to disrupt Deeper life crusade in Aba all because he's from another tribe which was carried out by the way and his supporters disseminated that hate on social media since that radio station was established, why won't others return same hate? If you decide to even correct them that agitating for something doesn't mean you must hate and get abusive, they turn to you and abuse as you just experienced now. Let them have that hate from the north and I bet you, the SW other regions might follow suit.
All the hate and name calling from their leader is online and the Nigerian government has evidences to present should in case they want to blackmail the government in the legal way.

The thing has become very embarrassing.
To think that South South minorities who were well bonded with the South East have also become subject of this hate by many IPOB supporters is just disheartening.

Sometimes it leaves me thinking that it's maybe fifth columnists trying to use the hate rhetoric to tarnish IPOB. But on Facebook where everybody has a real identity the hate is also very virulent.

IPOB is toeing the part of APC. Prior to the election, APC built its entire life around the hatred for Jonathan. So people with naturally hateful tendencies were the ones that found solace in the party. They won. And found themselves room full of haters who knew nothing but to keep hating on Jonathan who had long left power for them.

The other part I fear that IPOB might be toeing unknowingly is that of Nazi Germany. Hitler ingrained both hate for other races and a sense of superiority in what he termed the Aryan race.
Every other race was sub human except the Aryans. And that's exactly what brought about the concentration camps.

Nnamdi Kanu has to do something to stem the hate rhetoric the IPOB has become known for. I understand he used the rhetoric to gain attention as the world never listens to calm speeches. But the attention has come so the rhetoric must change. If not when the time comes, hateful Igbos would turn thier hate on thier fellow Igbo when there is no more Hausa Fulani or Yoruba to turn on.

They bring out monsters in others, some people don't shout, they are cunning, sly, vindictive and deadly, just be careful whom you pick fight with.

op this is a very laudable post, I totally agree with you. indeed you have seen the counter comments on your post the hate speeches and inhumane rhetorics of ipob members. of course every ethnic group as the right to self actualization but it shouldn't be done via hate speeches and rhetorics. you see one of the comments above that was listing how IBO's have been killed but forgets that's in recent times the middle belt has faced more massacre from the Fulani herdsman than any other ethnic group, nonetheless do you see them spill so much hate like the IBO's NO!!....

obviously not all IBO's subscribes to NK hate speeches but am appealing to his followers to be careful because we are all sitting in a keg of gunpowder and one wrong move or wrong speech can trigger a tragic disaster, since the Kaduna declaration did you hear ipob members shouting for war, but I know some still harbor the thought for those harboring their warmongering thoughts look at Syria, Mosul, Aleppo, raqqa they are in ruins, do you want same for Biafra land??

for those clamoring for Biafra its pertinent to note that every Nigerian that does not belong to the ruling class or the elite is marginalized. everyone is marginalized even the north that you hate so much as the highest case of poverty and retrograde, all region is marginalized SE,SW,SS,NW,NE,NC, we are all in the same boat truth be told. the system is corrupt. if the effort you put into Biafra is channeled towards making our leaders pay for their past sins and corrupt practices we sure would have a Nationwide standstill by now, and we would renegotiate for our dividend of democracy. I have even come to realize that those that claim Biafra are even in support of people that looted the treasury from the previous government look at the support that they give to GEJ, MAMA PEACE, DIEZANI etal they scream ethnic slur of selective witch hunt but fail to look at the bigger picture that are they guilty in the first place??

.... abeg who is not marginalized the same thing NK is fighting against that is the same institution he is building, institutions of ethnicity and tribal chauvinism... NK is a tribal bigot and an ethnic chauvinist calling other tribes as animals and unprintable words....apparently the buhari administration didn't handle the issue properly, but people from the east should be wise and do the needful...you must be constructive and adhere to the rule of law and nature so your cause would be justified.
