Funny how many Nigerians are criticizing Emmanuel Adebayor here.
It's his money. He earned it. He can spend it any way he wants. If he doesn't plan well and goes broke tomorrow, na him fault be that. That is not your problem. At least, he didn't steal or embezzle it from government, like our corrupt Nigerian "officials" and politricians always do. Let us worry about the $43 million that was found in an Ikoyi apartment. Do you know what happened to it? Will anybody ever be brought to justice about it? NO, I don't think so. Because na very big Naija guys stole that money and put it there. Money cannot move itself. People have to move it. Do we know exactly what happened to the stolen millions of dollars and millions of pound sterling? What about the millions found on the seized jet supposedly owned by Pastor Oritsejafor sent by Jonathan to South Africa? Or the 28 billion (that was the "good" old Nigerian Naira) found on a Nigerian helicopter that was forced to land in Idi Amin ruled Uganda, many decades ago during the first Obasanjo administration? Do we know what happened to that money? What about the billions stolen by Babangida, Danjuma and Atiku, et al? The average Nigerian will never know. The Ikoyi money was the one that we know. What about all the other stolen billions that we don't even know anything about?

You guys are worried about Adebayor when you should focus on those crooks who have robbed Nigeria's dreams and continue to destroy that country everyday. At least Adebayor donates money to help education and the local schools. If na Naija, the politricians go chop the government money instead of doing good things with it. How many rich Nigerian entertainers (all these musicians, actors, business men and women, millionaire celebrities) have helped average Nigerians? Name them and tell us what exactly they did and how much they spent. And I am not talking about just giving away loaves of bread or bags of rice one time. What concrete or permanent thing have the Nigerian affluent and all those rich entertainers done besides partying and showing off all their houses and cars? How many of them have donated 10 million dollars to education or to a local project? How about our many millionaire pastors and 419 "preachers" who ride around in private jets, expensive cars and suits and shoes but do nothing to help the average Nigerian man or woman who is left to die and suffer? Remove the log from your own eye first before you decide to criticize your neighbor. Ask yourself, did Jesus travel in a car? Did Jesus wear expensive clothes, shoes and clothes? No he wore sandals and walked a lot. Did Jesus live in a mansion or expensive house? Nigerians, stop deceiving yourselves and stop trying to fool the rest of us.

I like Bill Gates. He donates millions to important causes and very needy people around the whole world. Gates is very humble but everybody is not Bill & his wife - Melinda Gates. Adebayor donates to his local community and to thousands of Togolese children. That is good enough for me. A donation to education lasts forever. Abeg make una let him enjoy his money joor.

If the foolish rich people from the past had made things right, you wont have gotten this "showoff" mentality of yours. I mentioned those richer than Adebayo with investments scattered around, yet they still have the sense that its only one car they can enter at a time, si why buy so many. I know huspuppi is your mentor and role model but please bro, spend your money with sense, i mean SENSE... thank you

is simple question I ask before o, are you his money man? what has given you the impression that he doesn't have 'investments littered around'? because he has gotten himself this many toys? lol...when you make your money- assuming you do- please do spend some of it on that which tickle your fancy. if it's cars, buy some of them. set out the hate from your life and let people that have the money now enjoy themselves, they've worked hard for it.

Some people can lie for Africa.

Emmanuel Adebayor takes care of his mother and several other members of his family. He takes care of his younger brother and an older male cousin.

That his mother still lives in the village does not mean he doesn't take care of her.
is that what he told you on whatsapphuh

Mr "rich people spending money defender", did i say he shouldn't tickle his fancies?? What i am saying is "moderation" he can't use all those cars at the same time. Even if he uses one per second, he cant enter all at the same time. I will prefer he buys 3 cars and be changing it very 6months one after the other. That he suffered in the past and got breakthrough doesnt mean he should look stupid

Sir, its not about winning here, its about we removing our totality on money. If it comes to you all well and good, dont intimidate with it. And if it doesnt come, don't feel less a human being or intimidated. Money answereth all things still yet, money is not everything... Peace
