Famouson:
I am a student of a polytechnic in Nigeria (one of the maddest poly in Nigeria) . I'm in my early 20s, and this is what I feel about Nigeria and Nigerians.

I'm tired of Nigeria. I don't know where Nigeria is headed.
Growing up as a teenager, I always wanted time to forward wine into now. Now I want to go back to being a teenager..
Every system in this God forsaken country is damaged and everyone seems to be happy about.. The poor keeps getting poor, and the rich richer.. On the expenses of others(the average) .
First of alll the educational system is damaged. If you're not born into a wealth family, my guy you are on a long thing( I can attest to that). I'm like 6months into the system and it's sucking blood from me on a daily basis.. The corruption here is my school is mad. They make you pay for every little thing. And the craziest part of it all is that about a thousand students are happy with the condition. I attend a state polytechnic somewhere here in the west, most of us here are afonjas(sorry to use that). But the truth remains, that's what we stand for.. We stand for foolishness, craziness. I can't believe everyone is cool with the fact they they are robbing us in broad daylight..
In my first semester, I payed nothing less than 100k for acceptance and other registration. That's not even my problem. The major problem is the registration. They let one go through so many manual vigorous excersises just to register for some stupid things. I don't want to keep quiet, because I don't know what Nigerians stand for.. I believe we all have a voice, we should talk and not just remain dumb.. I can even say most graduated these days are illiterates.. If they are not, they won't allow every stupid thing this corrupt government throws at them..
God please save us in this country, if you're really up there watching oh..
The truth now is I don't know or think if Nigeria would ever get better if we continue with this '"I don't care attitude " towards living..
As a citizen, I'm entitled to good roads, electricity and many other normal basic things of life.. But I don't get that.. My grand father never got that..Its sickening abeg..
Please I want every Nigerian to stand for what is right, let's stop being taken for a fool.. Aren't we tired if being deceived? It's time for growth and a change.. (It starts with you and me)
#GodblessNigeria

I feel your pain...it is the pain of many Nigerians. It was what propelled me to save my money while working at my and run away to America
