I can give u 10 advantages over this, but lemme give u only few, there are many places in lagos that this size will make transportation difficult, unless they wanna use it on d main roads only ( danfo size is small and can go more places). Danfo size can maneuver easily, which means getting to ur destination faster. Danfo size means, bus get filled faster (u know lagos, every second is money). It makes brain to use danfo size wen u consider maintenance too. More people will get employment with danfo size too. This can work in some area, not all, at all. At least, i ply brt from ikorodu to d Islands whenever am going those route (that makes sense)

The problem is you are looking at this from very individualistic perspective. And that's the problem with Nigeria. Collective good is hardly ever taken into consideration and that's why we are bereft of development.

Why should vehicles be looking to maneuver easily. Shouldn't vehicles be moving in an orderly fashion instead of seeking to outwit each other? Do you know the consequences of "maneuvering easily " on our collective good with regards to getting to our destinations faster?

Sometimes, u just forget anything which has to do with politics and just do business (purely business). It makes sense better to assemble these vehicles in Nigeria, be it IVM or PMT or odas scattered all over Nigeria

Its makes sense for the state government or the local manufacturer/assembly? I'm sure IVM etc are aware lagos were looking to rellace the danfo buses, we don't know if they gave their quotations and its doesnt add up

If the local assemblers dont have the capacity or after sales assurances then you have to move on with your projects

Are we in New york or in lagos? Everyone hates to get stuck in traffic. Imagine u have to enter a street in mushin with this, God help u, that's where u will sleep and die. Am not saying to over take and over speed o, am saying most roads in lagos are only good enough for small vehicles. We never i take these big buses from Sango to oshodi, i always blame myself, just to make a 90 degree turn on those road na waec. You ignore oda factors and pick only 1 out, i guess u already admit that the smaller vehicles advantages outweigh bigger ones. Yes, to maintain smaller vehicles is easier than bigger ones.

Shiiit cost about 12m

...hypocrisy is when those buses are imported from abroad and not sourced locally. The same govt will be preaching diversification, that recession is a blessing in disguise since it will help the nation to look inward. #hypocrisy.

Nice move by the Lagos State government but one good question is can they maintain this bus considering our bad road. If we want the bus to last longer do not employ the current DANFO drivers on our roads, they are very reckless.
