It doesn't even have the famous two striped yellow color. This has to be a prototype abi sample. I don't see what qualifies it as Danfo. It should be renamed, rebadged plus including rebranded.

Exactly my thought, they didn't even try to retain any of the details from the original Danfo brand and you expect it to replace the age old vanagons.

That is the Nigerian mind-set, some components of the vehicle can even be manufactured locally, but no, they will prefer to create jobs in foreign countries through such importation.

Of course there will be no need for conductors. Secondly, this an opportunity for you and I to tap into. Since no tomatoes and other sellers will not be permitted into buses, owning a pick up van or truck is not a bad idea. If u get my drift

....So d former buses(old ones)they are trying to flush out now,were they not new and "sweeter" like these ones before?.this is just a project to "chop"money because after sometime,they will go back like others.

Have you considered the fact that there will fleet replacement and maintenance which will lead to continued similar importation, building a plant for it here will surely reduce the overall cost in the long run.

And who told you Innoson has more expensive vehicles than the scrap we bring in from South Africa, India and Turkey?
