I'm disturbed by various graphic images people display on social media these days, I have never seen (If you have one kindly refer me to the link) where a white man captured graphic images of accidents, fire victims, domestic violent victims and so on.

Paul Walker was killed in a fatal crash but no one saw the aftermath of the incident, a tower got burnt in UK- no one saw the victims, even when one madman entered a club in Orlando and gunned down scores of people- you only hear about their names, even the notorious Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden dying moments was not captured on still photography.

But in Africa especially Nigeria, everyone is a photojournalist, any small incidence people bring out the smart phone in a dumb hand to capture the moments so that they can show people. Have we suddenly become animals? why should anyone derive pleasure in capturing another man's sorrow? You see people even capturing an Infant that was thrown in the refuse dump, I don't even want to talk about those recording live videos of jungle justice (those ones are certified idiots).

Camera is to capture moments you intend to relive, so what exactly do you want to relive in "sad moments for some families". Please, we need to change our orientation, some families have not even been informed about their loss but the photojournalist have already display the gory images to the world.

In the word of Brother Aaron Neville (from the track "Hercules"wink, if you can't help, don't hurt, just pass me by.... Peace out

You're either delirious or sheltered (which may be a good thing).

The internet is littered with accident scenes from all over the world. I will not give you links since it's not my job to educate you.

But try to get more life exposure, Nairaland is not the only website that your smartphone can access.

Do you have to hurl insults before you pass a message?... Anyway I've liked it and shared it.

That wasn't an insult but a honest observation.
