With the way premier league teams are reinforcing, next season is sure going to be deadly. And Lacazette is certainly not enough to bolster our squad. Really hope Wenger can see this as well.. |

I hope Xhaka impresses me as he did towards the end of last season. He is among the players am eager to see how they turn out this season asides Chamberlain and Holding. I also think we should sought the issue of Alexis contract ASAP, he is becoming a distraction. He can as well fvck off if he doesn't want to come to terms with the contract. I also wished we would be done with all our signings as soon as possible so as to be able to concentrate on the upcoming season because I feel it's going to be tough on us. Who else are we signing again? And yes, I'm still not convinced about lacazzete yet, still keeping my fingers crossed about him. |

Fkforyou:me too I hope I'm wrong abt him forget any transfer from wengay unless Monaco decides to gift us Lemar. as for Sanchez, we can't blame him he single handedly carried us last season so let him misbehave |

sod09:Well V.Persie did, where is he now? Abeg no one is irreplaceable. And yes, we still need one more midfielder that's if wengay hasn't decided we have the so called "squad depth and Mentality" I know Ox is coming up and can play the midfield position but I just feel we shouldn't be rotating him that much i.e from RWB to CM to DM he needs to play in a constant position to fully develope. |

sod09:We need a replacement for Cazorla. Also, unless Sanchez and Giroud stay we would still need more forwards. Wenger cannot be stupid to waste his 2year lifeline. |

Sanchez going nowhere, insists Wenger Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger Tuesday insisted unsettled striker Alexis Sanchez is going nowhere, saying he expected him honour his contract and potentially sign an extension. The Chilean, 28, has a year left on his Gunners deal but is yet to sign a new contract and has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Manchester City. Reports in Britain have said he could be offloaded for up to 80 million pounds (US$103 million, 90 million euros), but Wenger suggested this won’t happen. “The players have contracts and we expect them to respect their contracts. That’s what we want,” he said in Sydney about the striker. Asked if he remained determined to keep Sanchez and not let him go to a Premier League rival, Wenger replied: “Yes, that is a continuation of what I said at the end of the season. That’s what we will do. “He adds great value to the squad and I think as well he is a great lover of the club.” Sanchez, who at times last season cut a disgruntled figure as Arsenal struggled with form and uncertainty over Wenger’s future, is not on the team’s pre-season tour to Australia as he rests after last month’s Confederation’s Cup. But Wenger said reports that the Chilean ace had informed him that he wanted to leave the club were not true, replying with a curt “No”. He added: “I think the easiest way to manage a player is in the final year of his contract. It is in his interest to do as well as he can. “Nobody knows today if Sanchez will be on his final year of his contract next season, because he can extend his contract with us at the start of the season or during the season. “So it is not necessarily the last year of his contract at Arsenal Football Club.” Arsenal play two pre-season friendlies in Sydney this week, against Sydney FC on Thursday and Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday. https://www.hotpointng.com/post-contents/5091 |
